Make sure you know the area because if not you might get stuck on the island like we did. Very few motels take dogs and most people there aren't real nice and don't give a lot of information. We wasted 12 hours trying to find a motel and everyone we talked to told us to keep driving. What a joke! As we were leaving in the dark it was pitch black, most houses no one was in.
