Front desk denied my four children to borrow a ball while liberally handing balls out to other children. My kids have been going to this rec center for almost a decade attending a school cooperative held there. Rec center employees: Come on, It's a ball. Be a community. Be kind. Be cool to kids. kids that simply wanted to use a ball while waiting for their ride. I'm told you were handing them out liberally to the public schooled kids getting out of school. You may have policies and such that our school cooperative had ended 30 minutes ago and now the public schooled kids were arriving. Still. It's a ball. You hand out a thousand balls to other kids in front of my children and then flat out tell my kids "No" ? You've got to know my kids, they've been going to a school group at the rec center a long time. That's very stickler of you to draw a hard line between 2 groups of kids.
I called and asked them why they would do this, and the response was, " ball shortage" I know there are many many many balls at the rec center. Maybe not all soccer balls, but you could have given them what you had, like you were doing in front of them for the other kids.
