Since they changed to be Bancorpsouth and now Candence or something like that, they're being over charging and playing with people's money, they have being charging me customer service $5.00 for a service they don't give you in the first place and if you don't pay attention they will charge you another $36.00 for overdraft in the charge they started in the first place. Went today to pay the $41.00 to make sure they closed the account and guess what?, it was $46.00 now, because they charge $5.00 for an account that wasn't even being used. I wrote to their customer service two weeks ago (that's why I make the comment of not receiving any service from their part) to let them know that I sign up a contract with National United, not them, and it was for $25.00 overdraft fee, not $36.00; that I want them to closed the account and send me the bill. More likely they'll keep charging non-stop, so I'll wait for them to sent me to creditors and then I'll dispute the account and ask for the evidence of my approval of this overdraft and overpriced charges. Don't lose your hard working money with these bank they are not honest or trustworthy. Try Extraco Bank, Navy Federal or any other bank, I know for a fact they will be honest and able to offer you real quality customer service, especially...
Read moreDo not bank with them!!!!! They charge you $35 to stop a fraudulent recurring charge and it only blocks it for a specific amount which means all they have to do is add a penny and then you have to pay another $35 to block that charge. You still lose whatever they charged you plus $35. They're being reported to the attorney general here in Texas once again for their lack of commitment in keeping your money safe. Many complaints and they still haven't reached out to me despite going into the branch and requesting someone to talk with me about the problem. They steal your money by changing the dates of transactions, multiple maintenance fees a month, random ATM charges and a few other things I have listed and gave to the attorney general and I now requested D.O.G.E to audit and investigate them. They are thieves! On top of everything they won't show my updated review. They have been retaliating by stealing more from me since I've...
Read moreThis bank has gotten too corporate. I miss National Banks of Central Texas. The manager ran it like a small town bank and everyone likes the small town feel. Maybe they spoiled us, I don't know. When I walk in and the manager tells me to fill out a withdrawal slip, it ticks me off. Not once in the many previous years of banking with National Banks of Central Texas, in the exact same building, did I have to do anything other than sign because they filled out their forms. It's got that corporate unattached to their customers feeling inside those doors. I'm pretty sure we will be finding something better in the...
