Long Branch Park — Attraction in Killeen

Great place to take young children. The splash area is a real fun activity to keep the lil ones cool and entertained through the summer. This location also has a basketball court, tennis court, playground, pool and plenty of open grass area for whatever sports you can think of. The basketball court is pretty impressive, to be located at a public park. There are also small picnic tables with overhead cover throughout the area. There is one big pavilion area between the splash park and pool which has large picnic tables, and electrical outlets for entertaining crowds. The area can be reserved but due to it's location, you probably will end up sharing the pavillion with whoever is visiting the park due to lack of shade and seating in the area. Cost to swim is...

This park has been here for forever. Easy access and open view of virtually the whole park from any area. Swimming pool, splash pad, basketball courts, tennis courts, multiple playgrounds, and a skate park. It's nice pretty much any time of the year. I've even seen people LARP here. So it's a place for everyone. My kid likes the skate park and the playgrounds. Plenty of parking. Only gripe is currently the restrooms by the skate park are locked. If you need to go... Awesome park through and through! My kids love the splash pad and it's a life saver with this Texas heat am I right??? Haven't tried the pool yet but we will soon, been on the weekend to the park and even though it was packed it was still fun. Also went during the week and it was less people but still a good time. However the bathrooms are disgusting!!! There has been something splattered on the wall where people eat food for a while more which is also disgusting!!! Need to get some more maintenance and more bathrooms wroth more...
