I have never wrote a bad review for anywhere before but the experience I had today was just so bad I'll never go back with my children. I went with a friend and multiple kiddos today, the staff was not friendly and but this is what I find most times I go which is sad, but also multiple times i have gone staff giving attitude to each other in front of guests its just unpleasant. The whole place is dirty, I work in childcare and there is no excuse for it to be like that even on the busiest of days. But the thing that really set me off is a grown adult sitting in a massage chair had there feet laying in the floor so my toddler tripped falling face first into the floor. Now me being upset with the man is another story but the only worker of Billy bees a male was standing in front of me as this happened and just looked at my child bleed and just looked at me and then just walked away and just stood at the food counter not helping anyone, I would have thought maybe seeing this offer paper towels to a distressed child or at least give them to me to clean up the blood on the floor. The women at the desk was on her phone not really paying attention to anything. I understand that it's my responsibility to watch my children but the place is an accident waiting to happen. On another note I had gone a while back and the ceiling was leaking and they just put out a small trash can to catch the water with no signs, and water on the floor. A little boy was running and fell hurting their neck screaming in pain. Staff looked unconcerned. It took me a nearly a year to come back from saftey concerns. If you go down the comments kids have left from other injuries and its extremly concerning. I wish i had looked into it more before i gave them another chance. From one mom to another just drive to over to Off The Wall Kidz in carver so much cleaner, safer!! and staff always happy and...
Read moreBilly beez Kingston location is well maintained, space is wide and has multiple types of slides, obstacle course, ascending-descending type activities for kids to have physical activity. Inside there is plenty of cubbies to keep the shoes. There are also chairs, benches across the area for grownups to sit down and watch. There is only 1 supervisor staff inside the play area who keeps rotating . Certain points to note: A) Ticket cost is higher end, but Pros unlimited time for kids. Agree with most reviews about there is no reason for grownups to pay to watch. Single adult = $3.95 and Additional adult is $6.95!!! B) There's a small area with chairs and tables for eating plus a cafe (not sure of the menu, since the day of our visit, there wasn't much options available to buy C) For the proactive parents who like to sign up waivers in advance of visit, don't bother. Apparentky, the form on the website is stale. This info is only shared when you go to front desk to buy tickets (after waiting in long queue) and only the code they provide onsite Ed be eligible - which adds to long queues and time taken to buy tix and get in D) based on the 4 or so customers in front of me, no purchase receipt and customers had to request one, which adds more time, since they have to produce secondary copy E) not sure what was going on with the front desk staff, perhaps were super tired or had a bad day, they did not seem interested to be there..no welcoming, no smiling at customers, getting ticket count incorrect and redoing the transaction. Perhaps the day of our visit was as such .I recognize these days lot of places are under staffed, but average customer service doesn't...
Read moreFirst, the ONE pro...THEY CLEANED! Not a "new coat of paint" clean, but it was a huge improvement. That was about it. We only come every 4-6 months, but every time we come here, there is less and less in the pretend play area. (I get it, kids break/lose stuff) There was SOME new food, but the setup is huge and makes it look so sparse. Only the ball "fountain" and a couple shooters work in the ball tower. None of the score boards work either. And as of the start of 2025 they're enforcing the "Only Billy Beez Socks" rule. That’s right. Charge for the adults entry and use our socks, but we’re not going to fix or update anything. It’s school break week so I decided to take the kids to get some energy out. It’ll probably be another 6 months before we come back.
Update…ok. This place is officially out of the regular rotation. Mr. Grumpy pants showed up. Apparently the mini bee area is just for babies and not toddlers. I kicked out my 9 year old earlier because obviously it’s an area for younger/smaller children. Maybe be a little nicer and put up a height stick. No signs. No indication of the age restriction. We were allowed every other time with my 4yr old so how were we supposed to know? But of course as we were leaving I saw 3 “older” kids playing in there. If you’re not going to have your entire staff enforce a rule what’s the point? Put up a sign or something and it'll make it...
