Visited Kingston Collection Mall several times, finally ate lunch at the Suji's Kitchen, Indian Cuisine, as it was the only food place that was open. The dishes tried and recommend are the Chicken Tandoori (Bone-In) - they are 2 large chicken legs served on a bed of edible fresh chopped salad, not just a garnish, and the Egg Fried Rice. There appeared to be no lunch combos, so a co-worker and I split the bill, he got the rice, I got the chicken, we shared, made for a reasonable lunch combo and price point when shared, otherwise pick any dish as a standalone meal it's all so awesome and fresh, that is why you wait, all made fresh and it makes all the difference, love the spices, just awesome. My other co-worker had the French Fries - Classic, CRISPY fries, PERFECTLY seasoned WOW. Everything was WOW. The staff were friendly, accommodating generous, and very thankful for our business. Will definitely be coming back. I hope everyone hears about them, they have a great in the mall - lots of parking, lots of tables and lots of space to exercise after, to go walking with one of their beverages or coffee!...
Read moreFood is great, patronize this place so we don’t lose the only local Indian place we’ve had in Kingston/Plymouth in years. I know Indian food from the mall food court sounds dubious but trust me, the stuff is delicious. 14.99 for a big container each of curry and rice is a steal too, food this good would fetch at least 18 or 19 bucks at a sit-down joint.
Food was fresh, hot, and generously portioned. ~15 minute wait for food which I don’t mind and is pretty quick for Indian food anyways. Korma had a ton of super tender chicken, paneer tikka masala was loaded with paneer and was very smooth and creamy, veg pakoras were ripping hot out of the fryer and very crisp. Everything has the wonderful taste of fried aromatics—curry leaves, coriander, caraway, cardamom, cumin, etc.
Only thing I’d like to see is some fresh chutneys on deck but the pakoras were fine on their own or...
Read moreI have been SO excited to try Suji’s Kitchen in the Kingston Collection. Indian food is woefully lacking in our area. My family loves Indian food so tonight my teenager and I were the first to taste test. We tried the Butter Chicken, Chicken Tikka Masala, and Vegetable Korma. They were all beyond delicious, lick your chops good. The basmati rice served with them was phenomenal- we were left wanting more so I’ll be ordering extra next time. Despite being warned that it isn’t amazing, I did order the Naan. It’s really more of likely store bought pita doctored up a bit. Definitely not anything to the level of the rest of the food, but as my son said, it served its purpose and we were not sad that we had ordered it. If you love Indian food, run do not walk to this ‘hole in the wall’ in the food court at the...
