I have been an patron of the woodhouse day spa for years. I have had many facials, massages, nail care etc. all services and staff being wonderful. Recently, the spa introduced the Hydrafacial. For those that don’t know, the Hydrafacial machine is the Rolls Royce of facials. I was hesitant with the price, as it is pricer than your typical facial. I immediately jumped on an appointment when I saw the spa debuted a mini Hydrafacial for $50 during their December open house. I have had many facials, though nothing had prepared me for the Hydrafacial I had received at the Woodhouse Day Spa. So what is the Hydrafacial? In my words, it is a hydrating microdermabrasion on steroids, yet gentle and kind. The Hydrafacial uses technology to cleanse, deep clean, and hydrate. My phrase post appointment was “my skin feels so much lighter/cleaner”. I am now 3 days post Hydrafacial and I continue to see/feel results. I actually think I heard my skin thank me for the treatment. My pores are smaller (and cleaner). My skin is soft and smooth. With being in the mist of winter, my skin shows no signs of dulliness or dryness. So is the Hydrafacial worth it? Yes yes yes. I was skeptical due to having sensitive skin, allergies, and the cost but as soon as I finished my appointment, I sought out the staff to book another. I suffered minimal redness that was gone within a half hour, there was no downtime. Thank you Woodhouse for bringing such an amazing service to the area.If there is any doubt about treating yourself to a Hydrafacial, don’t be skeptical. Reward yourself, your skin will thank you.

Let me start at the beginning, my son and daughter in law purschased a email gift certificate back in 2023 as they have purschased me ones at this spa in the past. I have also purschased services for myself, friends, and family at this same spa in the past. Since 2023 I have been trying to use this service and have spent untold amounts of time and energy calling the staff members trying to find my e cert. I have been told by multiple employees that I do not have a certificate. The manager Monica who has been there since day one and has not returned my calls even though the staff has informed me she has my phone number and despite leaving multiple messages for her. My question for the staff there has been why is there no system to record/track your e certs? If these e certs and gift certificates are not able to be utilized by said guest then I wonder where is all the money for unused gift certificates go because this seems like a predatory type of business profiting and not providing the service. Finally I went to my old phone and was able to find the certificate and when I told the staff member all of a sudden they also found it! It is my request to be refunded the amount of the certificate and to take take my business elsewhere as I would never patronize a business that does not have the common decency to even return a phone call and who's management style is at the very least subpar. I have also contacted the cooperate office and have yet to receive a resolution. If you have not been able to have your complaint resolved may I suggest the BBB as that will be my next order of business. Terrible...
