A cozy, if somewhat crowded (not just with people, but tables and chairs too) breakfast / brunch café with that "mom and pop store" charm. It's clearly a popular spot with its share of devoted regulars (the phone rang like 5 times over the half hour or so I spent there) and I can see why. The menu isn't overly generous with options, but the prices are fair and the food arrived much quicker than I expected.
The only major disappointment for me was the French toast; it was bland and the watery syrup they offered only made it soggy and more unappealing. Ironically, the buttered toast my other order came with, which they clearly used as the same bread for the French toast, tasted great! My only other complaint is the drink size is insultingly small, essentially the size of a kid's cup, assuming you're not getting coffee or tea.
Not a mind-blowing experience, a step above decent, but for the prices and the atmosphere, I can't really complain. It's worth going to at least once, and I don't regret my visit.

Read moreIt's a small and crowded little breakfast location. Breakfast prices are very reasonable which is why the term you get what you pay for comes in. Staff was friendly enough. Now on to the part you wanted to know. Ordered simple, scrambled eggs with cheese scrapple and pancakes nothing crazy. Well eggs were under cooked and colder than the slice of cheese sitting on top of them, scrapple was cold and soggy, and the pancakes were cold and tasteless. My wife order scrambled eggs, toast, potat and one pancake. Everything was cold except the potatoes which came out way after the eggs and stuff. Toast was soggy and the butter taste like wax. Coffe was reminiscent of military grade field rations coffe pack. When we voiced our displeasure they made us new food that was equally disappointing. So we opted to forgo breakfast, pay and leave. The waitresses said she was sorry and said it won't happen again, rest assured I won't give it...
