On January 4,2021 I purchased a power reclining living room set from buddy's home furnishings store # 545 it was delivered on 1-5-2021. On 1-7-2021 I got a call from Keith and he told me they had sold me a set that had been ordered months in advance and a costumer had already paid for it, he asked If I'd be willing to return it so they wouldn't get in trouble and he would give me a loaner till they found me another like set to replace what I had paid for so trying to do the right thing and thinking if I was in the other peoples positions I would hope they would return what I had already paid for willingly. So I agreed and they came the same day and picked up the set and delivered the laoner witch was a brown in color material couch and recliner. Two days later they show up out of no where trying to pick up the loaner not having me a replacement, I told Keith that wasn't right and I also asked him if it was possible for the loaner furniture to have bugs in it because my son and myself was getting bit and he said no that everything was cleaned before it was rerented so he left the furniture and told me he would look me another set. It has been over three months still nothing I went into the store and spoke with Keith again and was told he couldn't refund my money because I'd had the loaner to long. Witch don't make since because he clearly told me to my face that it wasn't my fault they made a mistake and they would fix it. Now I have found live and sheded skin from bed bugs and also have pictures. I went to buddy's store #545 today 4-30-2021 and talked to Keith again and showed him the pictures and demanded a refund and after telling him I have a lawyer he then refunded my money. Now I have to have my home perfessionly treated for bed bugs and I'm still out of living room furniture and don't know how much of my personal affects or other furniture my be affected. Read moreI was not going to re-visit Buddy's any more because of a not so good experience I had with a rude representative, however, I gave them another shot. They have a new manager in Kinston, I had to go back an actually get his name. His name is Dijon, and when I tell you, he is the nicest, most respectable person they've had in that store in a long time. He is persistent though, but he knows his products and you won't leave the store without some furniture lol, however, the end result is that you will be happy. Shout out to Buddy's!
