Main Moon — Restaurant in Kinston

The customer service was extremely horrible from the time we got to the drive through window. The lady had a attitude as so as I asked for a menu, we were rushed to place our order. She didn’t want us to even look over the whole menu, we weren’t to the window two minutes before she was telling us to park the car, and call our order in. I explained to her we drove from a different County to try the food. We waited over 25 minutes for our food, and I asked a few times if our orders were ready. She said no each time. She said she would wave when our orders were ready, so we kept getting out of the car each time she waved her hand. She had the nerves to get mad with us when we were following her instructions. Her attitude was so rude my friend asked for a refund, and she raised her voice at us for no reason. She told us it was a wait on wings and she didn’t know when my order would be ready. But as soon as I got in the car my food was ready. I get my food and was extremely cold like it been ready over 15 minutes ago. I have eaten food that was 15 minutes old, and it wasn’t even cold as my food. I was too hungry to wait for more food or get a refund to go somewhere else. The food was disgusting 🤢 and the menu prices were out dated. We waisted our time tonight for bad food and bad customer service. I would never recommend this place to anyone. My fried Shrimp basket was extremely hard and cold, my shrimp fried rice was cold and the food had no flavor it was nasty didn’t taste like it was cooked in a restaurant. The fried chicken wings were just as nasty as everything else and they chicken seemed like it was cooked in old oil. I wish you could rate something with a negative star. Tonight was my first and last time eating at this place. We were extremely disappointed...

Overall, not a bad spot, and it's in a pretty convenient location: nothing impressive, but not bad. However, I didn't call ahead of time, which resulted in a wait that I think was about half an hour, and thus would recommend to others that they don't make the same mistake that I did in just going there without calling ahead.

Aside from that, my only caution is that the drive-thru (while the only means to order anything from them right now) might be a little small for the liking of some people, and wanted to let you know about that now.

As for the food itself, it was pretty sizeable for the little over $7.00 that I had spent on it. It was good - nothing impressive, but not bad either.

There's a good chance that (Lord willing) I'll come back here again in the future, and would recommend others to visit this...

I like that this place is only a takeout restaurant at least for now because I like to take this food with me home and they did a fantastic job the past couple times I’ve been there with taking my order and me picking it up either through the drive-through or walking in to get it I absolutely love the fried pork wontons because I’ve not found a place around here that does those and where I’m from. I absolutely loved eating them and this place reminds me of where I grew up and the food is spicy to me but my husband absolutely loves it and we’ve had the Mongolian beef and veggies and the general Tso’s chicken. They had red pepper flakes I think and it gave it a kick, but my husband loved it. This is now my go...
