Quick N Chicken — Restaurant in Kinston

Went here with my kids last night, read good reviews. First of all, there is hardly any seating for families. There were only 2 four top tables, the rest are two top, and then seating around the bar. It was freezing in there...not sure if their heat was broken or what, but the thermostat read 54!!!! We were going to eat in, so we sat at one of the four top tables to look over the menu, then went back up to order. Once we were done ordering, there were so many people waiting for take out that they were sitting at the only four top tables available, so we ended up having to sit at the bar. We ordered our food at 6:04pm. My kids were freezing, so we decided to change our order to go. My husband also wanted something to eat, which I was going to order once our food was ready but since we decided to get it to go, I went ahead and ordered his at 6:18pm. I didn't get my entire order until 6:48pm. To me, this is a ridiculous wait time. Everyone else's orders behind mine were coming out. The prices are outrageous for this quality food. It was mediocre at best. Ninja Hibachi is Goldsboro is WAY better. This place definitely has some kinks...

This place is really overrated and overpriced. Who burn scallops and vegetable? Please do not forget the wait time for orders or eat in. Who wants to wait over 45 minutes for food overcooked and has a burnt taste. The most eye-opener was that they actually allow the white sauce to remain on the tables when it is not in use should be placed on ice or refrigerated. Look out for food poisoning reports real soon with these types of practices. Additionally, why should it be allowed to have customers using the sauces because no everyone is clean or have proper manners anyway? Please get yourselves and employees together if you want to stay in business, but I will not be revisiting your...

episode #1 I ordered late, family catfish dinner. As advertised, the dinner comes with coleslaw, ff, and toast. When I get there to pick it up only a 2 ounce cup of coleslaw is with the order. states that they had run out. Understood. Episode #2 2 weeks later- Ordered same, but early (called in order on way home from work ~5:00 pm) the order, after having to wait 20+ minutes: 1- thin slice of toast, one 2 ounce cup of cole slaw, and over cooked fries and all of the fish portions were over cooked. and again "run out of cole slaw" not edible/enjoyable. poorest of service, food and presentation.
