Wild Oaths — Attraction in Kinston

My daughter just had her wedding here and our experience was great, zero complaints. The owner and his assistants were super accommodating, attentive, professional, and personable with us from start to finish. We needed several changes from our initial meeting, and we requested to stop in MULTIPLE times with our other vendors and they never complained about opening up for us, and let us take all the time we needed. The facility is beautiful and the upstairs bride and groom suites were perfect and roomy for make-up, hair, and dressing. Our party was able to stay overnight which was perfect following the rehearsal. We also made use of the kitchen space for the rehearsal dinner the night before. The staff came the night before to set up their tables and chairs for our decorator and came back the morning of to set up additional chairs we rented to be able to set up both the inside and outside simultaneously. Again, super accommodating. I would recommend them 100 times over. The venue is clean and charming. My daughter and son-in-law were at ease from their arrival on Thursday through our departure on Friday evening, and I feel the owner and staff made sure that would be the case. Wild Oaths is a wonderful place to stay for a weekend getaway. It’s a 30min drive to Greenville and only an 1hr30min drive to Wilmington for a pleasant day trip to the beach when you want to get away from it all. There is plenty of space for friends or family to enjoy without feeling like they’re constantly near each other. Just the other week I was there with family and whenever it got too much I never felt like I couldn’t escape them, thanks to this building being double story and having 2 bedrooms with in-suit bathrooms on the second floor and a spacious outdoor space, so I can scream my head off when my cousins got to be too much. This wonderful building also comes with an updated kitchen, with plenty of fridge space to store all that wine when the adults need a break. Overall my stay there was pleasant and enjoyable, not just for the fact that this building is located in downtown Kinston (especially not because it’s walking distance from Mother Earth brewery), but because me and my family were able to enjoy each other’s company without being near each other when needed (or wanted) to.

I recently hosted a going-away celebration at Wild Oaths, and I must say it was an absolutely fantastic experience. Heinz, the venue's owner, went above and beyond to accommodate our group's needs, even on short notice. The venue staff were incredibly helpful and friendly on the day of the event, making everything run smoothly. The venue itself is a stunning transformation of an old warehouse, with upstairs, downstairs, and outdoor event spaces that are beautifully renovated while preserving the wood, exposed brick, and character often found in these industrial buildings. Not to mention the added convenience of fully functional restrooms, a kitchen, and even two bedrooms that can be used as dressing rooms or bridal suites.
