Took my nieces and nephews there for a fun day out! We went inside and there is all kinds of fun learning things for them to do! They have a fun planetarium, a section for music, building, anatomy, and more. Inside they had a huge mouth were the kids could crawl into and it lead to a stomach they crawled out of, sounds gross but they had fun facts so you can learn along the way! Really a lot to do! My nephews favorite part was the reptile cave were we got to walk underground and look at turtles and snakes. They also had some fishes and some other animals there to look at! I’m pretty sure for a moment they tried to get my to pet a stingray but not for this aunt! They also have a huge playground that’s fun for all ages. And the best part I think was we ended the day with a little train ride which was a blast! Also this train ride was wheelchair accessible, which I thought to be so cool! It’s really a great place for the family to...

Read moreThis is a great inexpensive day trip for your family. Check out some wildlife here at this Nature Center. The salt water touch tank is currently closed due to COVID. Olivier the bird is pretty cool. He likes to say "Happy Birthday". The Health & Science Museum building next door is a neat children's museum. It has different learning areas (miniature Hospital, Fire Truck, Farm to Table area, and much more) making this a great place for field trips. On the same premises is a park with play equipment and swings. Plenty of activities for that perfect day trip. My only con would be that it seems a little outdated and could use...
