I went for Seattle Restaurant week. I had called to find out about parking- I was told about the valet parking strictly for Anthony's guests. So I drove up, the valet asked if I was there for Anthony's, I said yes, and he told me I should probably do what all the other guests do and park my own car in the self parking lot below. Off to a great start! Valet that tells you to park your own car. I went up to the restaurant from the lower lot (which only had one spot left), which was kind of confusing- I had to guess where to go. My friend had made reservations for us. So I went in and up to the desk which was not occupied, I waited; a server came up, grabbed something and walked away. I went to stand by the door to wait for my friend. A guy, who looked like he might have been a manager, walked up to counter, looked at me, and walked away. my friend also had trouble finding her way to the restaurant. I spoke rather loudly, that I had been there some time and nobody had offered to help, even though two people came up front and saw me. Shortly afterward a girl came from upstairs, down to the front desk, and finally helped us. We were sat immediately. A server arrived promptly. The service was alright. It wasn't phenomenal, but it was decent, enough. She showed up to get our orders and check on us, our plates were taken away within 10 minutes after we finished each course. We both had the salmon. I had a Caesar salad, she had the clam chowder was okay. The bread was pretty good. I was somewhat impressed with the salmon, I hadn't had it paired with those flavors before. The last little bit of my salmon was under-cooked, I didn't complain though. She had the burnt custard, there was something she didn't like about it, but I don't recall what. I had the Irish cream mousse. It was alright, a little too strong on the Irish cream part, of each bite, but the ending taste was fine. Over all, it was okay. I'd go again for Seattle restaurant week, but I don't think I'd pay regular...
Read moreHaving been a steady customer for over 40 years. I have been very disappointed as of late with the Harbor lights food quality. I responded via email on two separate occasions to the company regarding this. On this past visit two people for lunch. No alcohol two cups of coffee two orders of Halibut with tip $100.00. Unfortunately the Halibut is no longer battered it is breaded and was so dry it was mostly left on the plate. I have been supportive with the reduced menu do to the pandemic. On several occasions we have inquired about bringing the crab legs and putting steak back on the menu. However I can not support poor quality food. The past half dozen visits have been disappointing. Harbor lights has been a the common gathering place for my friends and I for over 40 years. Now for the first time tomorrow we are going to try other waterfront restaurants to have lunch at. Every year I purchase a $500.00 gift card at Christmas and receive a couple as gifts from friends. It is disappointing to see that Anthony's will not even respond to a...
Read moreI visited Anthony's website to purchase a gift card for a friend's birthday. The process was very easy, and although the site indicated my order had successfully gone through, I had entered my email address incorrectly and therefore never received a confirmation. However! The next day I received a phone call from Becki at Anthony's corporate office to inform me of the email being returned as 'unable to deliver,' and left a message providing me the tracking number for the gift card delivery. I was so impressed with this exemplary customer service that I returned her call and we corrected my email address and she immediately sent my confirmation and tracking number. The service Becki provided is greatly appreciated, and Anthony's serves as the epitome of superb...
