EDIT: It took 16 days for Dave the manager to call me back, and it seems my review here or possibly the health department sparked the call. His message says "Oh I guess you're busy". 16 days later Dave....
Like I told the first person I spoke to the day after, I didn't care about a refund, I was worried others might get sick too. The lack of care/concern is alarming. My family will no longer be eating at any Burgermaster with business practices like this.
I've been dining here for 40 years. It saddened me that I got really sick after eating here on May 30th around 7 pm and the lack of care or concern this location showed when I let them know. I had a fish sandwich, fries, boom boom sauce, tartar and a soda.
I sat there, ate, and scrolled on my phone, Halfway through my sandwich, I started to feel hot & not bad but different, so I went home. 20 mins later, I'm extremely sick in all ways (about an hr after eating). I went to the ER & was told it was food poisoning. I ate around 2 pm. that day, and I was fine. I was told it was likely what I had just eaten.
I called Burgermaster & asked to speak to a manager. I was asked to explain the reason and then put on hold. The person came back saying the manager wasn't in yet. I would receive a call back and took my info. A week later and no call from anyone. Person I spoke to completely dismissed me being sick from their food, saying it wasn't possible.

We pulled up, had the lights on, greeted by a very friendly server, placed the order for a mushroom and swiss burger, blackberry shake, fries, and a glass of ice water. She said they could add lemon to the water which I said yes. bonus points for that! She also asked if I wanted grilled onions on my burger to which I said no. Not a fan of grilled onions. When she read back the entire order, she mentioned grilled onions on the burger and I corrected her saying I did not want those. She apologised for the confusion and went to put the order in. Well...the order came with grilled onions. I picked them off but was still greeted to the taste of the onions with every bite of the burger. I waited with my 4yo son in the tiny checkout area for 20 minutes (15 minutes past online order estimate) with my son wanting to go to the restroom halfway but I told him our order should be done any minute. I couldn't believe how long it took so I asked the register again and apparently it had been ready for some time already!! They forgot about us while we were standing right in front of them for 20 minutes! The burgers and fries were very soggy (they're not supposed to be), probably as a result of the terrible service. The man at the register said "we don't take orders to the front" which I think means they don't bring them to the service area for wait staff, but hello?
