Kirkwood Ice Rink — Attraction in Kirkwood

Nice facility with great hot chocolate. It's cold inside, so wear a coat. Once you enter the rink, the athletic smell could turn a few people off but you get used to it. They keep the ice clean and smooth. If you go for a hockey game, keep your eyes on the game. Pucks can (and do) fly easily over the plexiglass barricades. Very nice, clean and inexpensive place to take your kids or grandkids. And if you're into ice skating, I am, great place for you too. Also, for all of you out there that love to fish..... I do. Kirkwood Ice rink used to be horrible, open air and then was covered a long time ago. The current incarnation is very nice. The stands are plentiful for the use they get. The locker rooms are nice. This is especially true of the officials locker room. Its decent sized with a shower, sink and toilet. This is a huge step up compared to other local rinks that put no time or thought into...
