UPDATE 12 DAYS LATER: Great customer service and what I thought was a nice job. Normally I could wear gel polish for three to four weeks while working in my yard, painting, etc. and never any peeling. That was not the case when I had my nails done at Nail Care & Spa. I was a little concerned while getting my nails done because to remove the old gel polish, they used cotton that had been soaked in a solution on my nails and wrap them in aluminum foil. After a few minutes the nail polish was scraped off with a scrapper and did made some indentions in my nails. They do not use a Dremel like I have always had. After the polish was scraped off a smoothing/buffing block was used. Then the gel polish was immediately applied to my nails, without the use of the basecoat. When I questioned not having the basecoat applied, I was told no worries you will not need it. Seven days later the polish started peeling off of one of my nails. I have not been doing any strenuous work as I have been recovering from wrist surgery that I had prior to having my nails done. Yesterday (11th day) the polish started to peel on another finger. I started taking a closer look at my nails and beginning to notice other nails are about to starting to peel, especially where the polish does not cover the entire sides. I am not a nail technician, but I believe the reason it started to peel is that the nail was not smooth enough and no basecoat was applied. You can feel little ridges in my nails where they scraped off the old polish. I am totally dissatisfied and aggravated that I spent the money that I spent to have my nails done and I am not even getting two weeks of wear out of it. I would’ve been better off just using the regular nail polish. Very disappointed. Now I give them a 2 star rating.

I have never left a negative review before, but I really feel compelled to share my experience from last night as a warning to others. The man who did my pedicure did not cut or nip my dead cuticles but grabbed the edge of my cuticle and pulled it off, including the live skin. The absolute doormat that I am, I didn’t say anything when this happened at first in case he had already realized he had hurt me, but when he did that a second time, I vocalized that it hurt, which it did worse than the last time. This man looked up at me because he heard me, and I know he saw the look of obvious discomfort on my face, and he continued what he was doing! So I very clearly told him that he was hurting me, and he kept pulling until he ripped the rest of my cuticle off. I was bleeding so much that he had to put my foot back in the water. Both of my toes are still very tender today, and I’m having to put antibiotic ointment on them to ensure they don’t get infected. He spent the rest of my visit awkwardly, repeatedly asking me ā€œAre you okayā€ and offering me something to drink, which I never accept as a personal preference, so it was super annoying. On top of that, I’m wondering if this is the same tech who did the nails on the lady with white polish on her toenails because my toenails look the exact same. It’s such a bizzare shape to just give someone so on top of being injured, I have to look at this ugly nail shape. I really wanted to like this place, but I don’t ever want to be in the same room as this guy again. Editing my review two days later to include pictures taken in the morning light because they’re still sore. Absolutely horrible treatment.

If I could give this place, no stars I would. I just stopped by there today after I got off work she was done with my nails within 20 minutes. If not sooner I then left not only was the acrylic. I guess you would call it the powder that they put on the top was Different all over the nail, some places thick some places then the places that were thin were very, very thin you could visibly see the nail was uneven all over the top of it every one of the nails were this way. I’m not sure why I even paid, but I did and I immediately left and went down the street to Premier where a very sweet man fix them to the best of his ability. He said it would take a while to get them off to start all over so all he could really do was just file down the tops on the surface and make it even my nails are so thin. I doubt they will hold up and I will definitely never be going back to this place. This was the absolute worst experience I’ve ever had at a nail salon The photo is after the man fixed them so you can’t see that they are uneven all over but you can see how thin they are

I had a pedicure and full set of acrylics yesterday and both were perfect. Henry did my pedicure and I was AMAZED. Best pedicure EVER. I had to reschedule and come back later in the afternoon because I had an appointment I was going to be late for. But it was ok because Henry took his time with my pedicure and it was so relaxing. I came back later for my nails. Anthony took care of my nails and they turned out perfect as well. Beautiful inside and great conversation. I will definitely be back for a fill in and another pedicure if needed. Give them a chance, you will not be disappointed. šŸ’…šŸ’…šŸ™‚šŸ™‚

UPDATE...Went back again again today for a pedicure. My last one was great!!! They were running a bit behind as not all workers had shown up. That was perfectly OK with me, I was in no hurry. The young man who did my pedicure was very polite and attentive. However shortly after I left and was shopping I looked down at my feet, not happy!! One is very shiny, the other is dark on one side like blood?! The bottoms of my feet....a completely different story as well. I chose the least expensive pedicure BUT it was supposed to get rid of calluses. My feet did not have calluses on the bottom, just rough, and they still are! Not happy at all this time with my pedicure šŸ˜’ I will get nails but not until after helping my husband with gardening and yard work. Not sure if I will...
