My husband took my S2000 for the inspection to renew our registration. There is nothing wrong with my car, it is well kept for but the man who performed the inspections refused to pass it.. my car has LED lightbulbs and having those lights in this particular car will cause the bright lights indicator on the dash to not turn on. Mind you I have day light running lights and my leds for night time. Perfectly functioning lights. But he still refused to pass the inspection even the other mechanic there tried to explain him...what bother me the most was his extremely arrogant and rude attitude.. the previous time I had gone for an oil change and requested oil change only not full service (air filter replacement etc) since my car has a short air intake but did they listen...of course not and they tried to charge me for an air filter replacement...please tell me exactly where did you put that filter...it was pretty pathetic to show them the "cone' my car has for air intake... Please consider a mechanic who knows their stuff...nevr n returning. I went to Christian Brothers that same day for the inspection abd the gentleman there passed the inspection with no issue since the...

Update: This has been my go to spot since I moved to Kyle for car inspections. However, after being there early for the two morning in a row and being told there was no one to do inspections. And then get yelled at by their neighbor because was parked in “apparently her spot” I am not sure I will be back. Day one I was like cool I get it stuff happens and they where like yeah the guy will be tomorrow. Next day I come in still no guy and apparently he is driving in from college station. Come back a the next week to give it one more shot and there like no it only on Wednesday. Here is the thing I am sure they don’t make much off inspections. But this would also have been the place I would have brought my wife’s car for oil changes. If your employees cannot show up two days in a row and you can’t higher someone the lives local my guess is you aren't paying your employees enough. So as convenient as this use to be I guess it's time to find some where else to go.

I took my car in to have an oil change performed. The staff was very professional and polite, no issues here. The service, while not a “15 minute oil change” was quick and cheap. I was hardly there for more than 30 mins so no complaints on the fact that it took a little longer. The issues I have with this establishment are as such: 1- My splash shield under the vehicle was reinstalled poorly. I had to mess with it a little myself to get it properly reattached Here’s the big one: 2- A used oil rag was left discarded in my engine bay. I work on people’s high end mountain bikes and can’t imagine reassembling one poorly or leaving my trash attached to the bike for that matter. Seriously, a used oil rag just chilling on top of my battery. That’s just unacceptable. If these two issues had not been present, I would have had only positive things to say. Sure, it’s cheap and quick but if you want someone who will take their time to throw their trash away after the job’s done,...
