Sonic Drive-In — Restaurant in Kyle

Took my son and my niece for an ice cream the other day. No issue ordering a fudge Sunday and a vanilla cone. Great! Waited for our order. The carhop brought us a vanilla "dish" with a cone on top. As well as a dish full of what looked like a milkshake with fudge on the bottom. Car hop then proceeds to tell us, our icecream machine isn't working so I hope this is "ok" for your. Ok?.... no it's not "ok"! I didn't order milkshakes in a dish and or a layer of chocolate filled with watery ice cream. Asked to speak to the manager. Asked the manager if he was "ok" with me getting the order I got? He was a young guy. He gave an apology and asked if we would like milkshakes instead. lol. I appreciate that but no we are fine. We returned our order and went to dairy queen. This wasn't the first time this happened at this location. Was the third time for me! Looks like dairy queen is our new go to for fast food and desserts. The quality of food seems to be going down at this location as well. The one in buda is good. Haven't had any...

They do get your order wrong sometimes, but their food is really good. My personal favorite is getting the spicy chicken slinger (now that it is back, it also isn't too spicy), either a pretzel twist or a Frito wrap jr, fries, and a sweet tea or water. They also have really good burgers, fries and tots, mozerella sticks, and their coneys are pretty good. I haven't really been through their drive through, so I don't know how well that works, but the drive in is simple. Also, sometimes they take a little longer to make your food. One last thing, the Oreo espresso shake isn't too good, I am pretty sure they just use a flavoring of espresso and not the actual thing. Unless you really like the taste of coffee (even though to me it tasted like chemicals)...

Pulled up to the drive thru and the guy said one moment. 5 min later I asked are you guys ready. He said ya sorry go ahead and as I was ordering he stopped and said sorry a few more minutes. I see other orders popping up on screen so I sit waiting. 10 minutes later he asks for my order again. It's just a milkshake nothing crazy. And as I was ordering he stops me again and then asks me if I can go wait in a stall and he will take my order from there. By then I was frustrated. Like if you are having problems or issues fine, it happens. But ask me to go to the stall when your issues happen not after I sit waiting for 15 min. I left and went to the sonic on the other side of 35. They were at least able to take my order without...
