Vertical Chapel — Attraction in Kyle

I just attended Vertical Chapel for the first time this past Sunday, and since then I have never felt more welcomed or more loved by a community. I’m a recently turned Christian, and after visiting a few of the groups the church offers, I truly feel like I’ve found my calling. I couldn’t be happier that God led me here.

Pastor Shawn has been incredible, and the whole church has made such an impact on my life in just one week. My partner was hesitant about “strangers” taking care of our 5-month-old son, but the Vertical team cared for him with such love and attention that we had absolutely no complaints…just gratitude.

This church is full of joy, love, and some of the most WELCOMING people I’ve ever met. I’m not usually an extrovert, but being here has helped me come out of my shell. The men’s groups are especially amazing; I’d recommend them to any man who wants to grow, embrace their humanity, and release the heavy expectations we often place on ourselves.

I have been going to this church with my sister and her family this year. I have my own church in Austin, but this church man, it's nothing like any church I have ever been to. I can feel God in this church!! Like a lot. He is working through this church and it shows. I have tears streaming down my face every time I go here and I am not an emotional person. The first time I came was after the New Year, there were so many people it brought me to tears. To see all of these people in search of God was truly amazing. My church is rather large and empty so seeing this was HUGE. They now have 3 services at Vertical Chapel and I believe are planning to build a bigger church to accommodate everyone. Love love love this church! The main Pastor is great! His sermons are raw that can relate to many of us! The other pastors are amazing! I always learn something new every week! My faith has grown stronger than ever! The care team is amazing! I love the ladies Bible study on Thursday mornings! My son loves Youth nights on Wednesdays!
