Lovely park with miles of trails, a boat & kayak ramp, an outdoor amphitheater, numerous picnic benches, cool art installations, and info boards spotlighting native flora & fauna.
In summer there are often movies in the park; free family-friendly movies shown at the outdoor amphitheater. The miles of trails make for an excellent place to go for a run or to walk your dog. (Please be mindful that all of Clark County has both leash and scoop laws.) The boat ramp is a great place to launch a kayak, canoe or paddle board. If you want to stroll through manicured walking trails, this park has you covered. If you like to hike (like me 😊), there are side trails that are more natural and secluded, where you can feel miles into densely wooded forest. The East Fork Lewis River runs through this park, so you know the water is crystal clear and beautiful; offering a nice size swimming area. There are also picnic areas, as well as viewpoint benches throughout the park. At the end of one of the bigger trails is a school, so that means a track and field. There is a cool mini amphitheater here, so you can enjoy live music even. I believe the live music is on the weekend, but do check their event schedule for more information. Their restrooms are clean and in excellent condition.
Whomever tends the grounds, does an absolutely wonderful job! Thank you for making my trip here so...

Street? first right off road) to the Southwest Loop Washington birding trail there's just a mild slope and a somewhat muddy path through a field. It's a long...
