I am giving this place a one star because of how awful the management is. The last 2 times we’ve been here, they’ve messed up our order and it took over an hour for them to fix it. This past time I emailed the owner to let her know what happened. She responded defensive saying that I order incorrectly…. I honestly couldn’t believe it? I’ve never had an owner say something like that to me. Every other time I’ve ever complain to a manager, they’ve apologized and refunded immediately with no questions asked. When I asked the Podunk owner for a refund for the pizza, she never responded. I felt she could have at least been polite and said no, but instead she just ignored my email.
The pizza is always cold and doesn’t taste great for how expensive it is. I highly recommend going to Ridgefield for pizza! Even though we are local, it’s worth the drive to avoid eating here. Expect long wait times, your pizza to be made incorrectly and overall just...
Read moreWe stopped here on our way put of town on Saturday night. We got the fried zucchini, garden salad, dough knots, and a wildcat pizza.
The zucchini was delicious, it comes with marinara which was decent but personally was way better with their ranch.
The garden salad was basic but had good quality lettuce and ingredients.
The dough knots left something to be desired. Truthfully they probably needed to be cooked for a couple more mins. Would have been so much more appealing if the exterior was a little crunch and the inside was fluffy. I also think they need to tweak their butter coating it very much lacked flavor.
The wildcat was super good. Nice high quality meats chosen, particularly the sausage. The dough was nicely done. I do agree with some comments about the marinara sauce kind of being basic though.
It was dead for a Saturday night at 7pm. Services was prompt and they came and checked in on us. The place itself is very...
Read moreThe service was good and the restaurant itself is ok, even if it is a bit sparse with an odd setup (couches......).
The food is mediocre at best. The mozzarella sticks were ok'ish but a bit less than fresh out of the fryer warm, which was odd since we were the only customers there and it was just after they opened.
The marinara served with them was ok, but also severed cold, which is a bit of a pet peeve of mine.
The pizza (a medium Pacific Hwy) was ok. The toppings were fine but the crust, particularly from the edge in, was way too thin making it difficult to eat without having all the toppings fall off. The crust itself was mediocre. My wife had a Wildcat Grinder and she liked it. The French fries were very good. So with all the above it would ve been a 3-3.5, but what drags them down to 2 stars is the price.......over $60. That is just WAY too much for what amounts to very middle of the...
