El Rancho Viejo | La Center — Restaurant in La Center

I've received food via pickup a couple times here, thought it was decent. However, after dining in for the first time, was totally disappointed. Their pricing is NOT accurate, the manager stated it hasn't been updated for 3 years. After charging my friend several dollars more on her check than the price that was listed, he stated we could download the qr scan on the wall (where no one would ever notice or think to read) if we wanted accurate pricing. He was rude, didn't apologize or adjust the bill. Top 3 worst service experiences ever.

Update: The owner/manager believes in "the customer is wrong" philosophy. He also does unethical practices by not honoring special prices advertised on the window. Taco Tuesday/Thursday is NOT honored on to go orders. I've went inside on a Tuesday just for my soda and tacos, only to be charged normal pricing on my receipt vs the discounted price. Unfortunately we have tried to give this place a few chances ,they all have been bad. This last time was it, I’ll never go again! Their customer service was horrible. We were never given silverware , had to find it ourselves. And you’d think when you are give your chips and salsa some water should come with, or at least the drink you ordered 10 mins before ( we were 4 out of 8 that were there at the time ) I was not too impressed with the food, a bit bland and not authentic. While house sitting in La Center we ordered take out for dinner. We had the Carne Asada plate and the Chili Verde. They package it in a way that the food was still hit when we got back to the house. Not a lot of options in the area, but the food was delicious. We decided to stop in for a brunch plan. We had the Chorizo con Huevos (mexican sausage and eggs) and the Chicken Flautas. Each were served with rice and beans. The food was fresh and delicious. And my Ice cold Coke from a glass bottle is the best!
