La Grande Stereo & Music Inc — Attraction in La Grande

I bought a pair of 6 x 9’s for my car and had them installed. The customer service was great until the installation. It took them 4 1/2 hours to put two 6 x 9’s in my car for my rear speakers. When I got the car back both speakers rattled because he only put two screws in one side of each speaker. When I took the car back he told me that was very hard installation and the screws wouldn’t fit. He also tried to put off the rattle of the speakers to distortion. (When you pay to have a job done you expect it done and done right.) He finally put the car back in the shop and in about 30 minutes had four more screws in the speakers so they were fastened securely. It was not done right. By my observation, he didn’t care about his work or how good it was he just wanted to get it done. Also there is a problem with the sound with the speakers he installed. The technician was very welcoming and immediately solved an intonation problem with a guitar that I really liked that was on there shelf that I wanted to play. I came into the store with intentions to trade or purchase a new guitar with trade on my violin. The owner looked at my violin and as soon as he heard me say trade walked off to help another customer and ignored me completely even though I had plenty of money to outright buy any guitar I wanted in that store. I've been a customer of Mikes way back when his store was on Adams Ave (1970s) bad business owners don't last that long. Mike has always been a honest,honorable man, I'm living in Florida for the last 5 yrs, when my grandson who lives in Lagrande called me and expressed he would like to learn to play guitar, I knew who to call, I called mike and he set him up that day, with encouraging words from Mike my grandson is on top of the world today, Thanks Mike !
