Little Cedar Bayou Park — Attraction in La Porte

Not coming here again! Too much mushy grass! The area to water your dog on the small dog side was a DISASTER! Big block of concrete sitting in a deep mud puddle...nothing a little dirt and pea gravel couldn't fix. This park is obviously not a priority for La Porte! Also, a very long area of the fencing is covered with high, thick brush and you can't see if the fence is intact or not. Good number of benches and large area but that's not all...

Visit 10-30-2022: We were here for the "Treats on the Trail" event. The booths/vendors were all decked out and they created a small haunted house on the bridge. There were games throughout the event, such as Jenga/Tic-tac-toe/bean bag toss. The flow of people moved easily. There was a fire truck for kids to get pictures in. My wife and I have brought our dog to the dog park a few times now and every time we come here, we cannot believe it is a public park made and maintained by the city; it is awesome. They have baseball fields, soccer fields, grilling areas, a small and large dog park (which are huge) and a whole wave pool. We haven't tried to wave pool yet but are...
