Patient name Haley Copeland I brought myself and my two children here, aged 10 & 7. Terrible experience for myself and my 7 year old. “Okay” experience for my 10 year old.

My first visit found i needed a deep cleaning. I had never had a deep cleaning before, and it was not brought to my attention that i would be getting shots in my entire mouth until the moment my deep cleaning began. I had no idea what a deep cleaning entailed. The appointment ended with my lips numb but mouth in great pain and blood dripping out of my mouth. Before I even exited the chair i was continually encouraged to “Leave a 5 star review” and the lady even told me “give me your phone and i will do it for you, it helps our community”. Indeed, i did NOT give her my phone. I couldn’t even speak as my lips were numb. I went to the front desk and as i was about to head out the door, the front desk lady called out to let me know blood and spit was dripping from my face and to grab a tissue to wipe my face. Then she also let me know i needed to leave a 5 star review. Later that day my bottom teeth started chipping, my teeth have never chipped before. When my son was seen, i sat in the room with him and during his cleaning the lady working on him continually snagged his lips on the mouth tools but pushing down on his lips forcefully when suctioning the water/spit from his mouth, causing the outside of his bottom lip to bleed. When my 7 year old was seen, they told us she had cavities and they needed to put in a filling. My daughter had never had experience with fillings and truthfully neither of us knew what to expect. We also were NOT informed what the process entailed. So, as i am sitting in the room and they are about to apply the filling with a very long tipped thing that resembled a needle, without giving any information as to what was happening beforehand or even as it was happening, my 7 year old saw it and began to sob and scream in terror, thinking they were about to put a needle in her mouth. Horrified, I comforted my child and tried to get her to calm down.

Fast forward, Maher Dental in La Porte came HIGHLY recommended by several people so i called to make my appointment with them and they requested my records from Pristine Family Dental, who did not comply. So, i called and requested my records and they emailed me a singular X-ray. I called back and they asked me “well then what did you want?” And i responded “all of my records”. To which they sent me two more X-rays.

I am not sure why they refuse to send me my records in entirety. They also PUSH the 5 star reviews extremely hard at appointments.

Had a crown crack and fall off while eating dinner one random night. Luckily, I didnt swallow it. I was in pain and in need of an add on appointment the next day. My employer is within 5 minutes of Pristine. I called them over my normal dentist for the past 3 years. They were able to add me to the schedule and see me that same day. I took my lunch break for the dental appointment. It would have taken me over an hour just to travel from work to my previous dentist.

I was very impressed with the professional, friendly, immediate care recieved by Pristine Family Dentist. They took care of my broken crown and my cleaning that was overdue. The cleaning was the best cleaning that I ever had in my life. They use modern equipment that leaves you with an overal clean feeling. I never experienced that same clean feeling with my previous dentist. My temporary, convenient, fill in dentist has earned becoming my permanent new dental office. It's not that my previous office necessary did anything wrong, this office just knows how to make their clients feel relaxed, comfortable and welcomed. Let's face it, no one wants to go to the dentist. Pristine Family Dental takes those extra steps to take away the dental anxiety. I...

I went several times for cavities and those were treated at a good cost. I went 6 months later to get a cleaning and that's when everything started going downhill. The person that cleaned my teeth was NOT a hygienist (did not even get all teeth when flossing) and the abrasive cleaning was not thorough. I've have many cleaning over 40 years of going to a dentist and this one was very poor. Also at the cleaning the dentist doctor said that one of the filings had fallen out. It was pointed out that it was one they had put in and he said they would fix it along with my I ther filling scheduled for the following month. When I went to get that filling done, they said it was for only 1 filling not the one they had said that they would take care of. On top of that, they told me at the that they were supposed to charge me for cleaning last month because I had gone over the amount that insurance would cover. With all that said I still don't have the filling fixed that fell out AND I had to pay for a cleaning. I don't ever remember having to do that before with insurance.
