I don't write reviews ever. I am always open to new and different businesses. However- I went to this salon on my way back from Newton last week. I had powder on my nails. It needed to be redone. I have spent two months also growing out my nails. I went in, asking to have a powder manicure if they had time. They did. So I'm normally used to soaking my nails for a decent amount of time to start over. So they had me soak my nails in acetone ( old school dip your hands in ) ... kept checking and then the lady starting pulling off my powder with clippers. My nails were weak before but she kept pulling away the acrylic off my nails. So it hurt and I pulled my hands away a couple times. I let it go hoping this was as a process I'm guessing for better?? So then applying the powder - she slapped my fingers SO HARD / not being a baby about this but I have two surgeries and broken wrists and have arthritis and swelling on my knuckles. I hate even writing all of this because I never do, but it Wasn't normal. So everytime I have had dip powder - it lasts at least 10 days or more. My nails have cracked, chipped- and seem more weak then ever. I'm so sorry to write this but please be careful. I just lost two months of healthy nail growth to amateur actions.
