We walked in as a family, and were poorly greeted. Two other customers walk in and received the warmest welcome. I walk to the register to ask for help with another item. The lady grabbed our one bag and started to check us out. When I said I wasn’t finished shopping, she said well you are with this bag. My mom try’s to lighten the mood by talking about the weather. Then my mom tells the lady to have a nice day, the lady completely ignores my mom. This is all while the gentleman is being creepy staring at us. It’s one thing or another, they just didn’t want to help us or they do not like people of color. It truly made me want to leave my treats behind. I will not be back, and will be sure to tell everyone we know to avoid them at all costs. When owning a business being professional should be a top priority. I’ve been a customer at this candy store my entire life. I grew up coming to this place to get candy with my family! I am absolutely obsessed with the dark chocolate sea salt caramels, all of the cashew turtles no matter what kind of chocolate it is because Tracy makes them the best ever! You can tell that she puts her heart into them! They taste like love. My mom always comes in to get the butter crunch because it reminds her of her own mom! —-they were her favorite when she was alive, it is a very special memory for my family! I am so grateful for the sweet memories that Tracy has helped us keep alive through her delicious chocolate. She and her husband are wonderful. BEST chocolate shop around!!! Their homemade chocolates are so creamy and delicious. My husband and I make our regular weekly trip to stock up - salted caramels and peanut butter cups are like nothing you've ever tasted before. There's such a wide variety of chocolates and bulk candy, and they have a great selection of ice cream too. Owner is always friendly and accommodating.
