The name of this place is what pulled me in and it did not disappoint. You walk into a huge selection of chocolate everywhere. As you continue through the store there are jewelry displays and then you reach an area that has some gifts. I have to admit the stuffed goats around the store are adorable! If you continue up the flight of stairs you will be greeted with a giant goat on the right with some beauty products. Across from that goat is an entire room filled with bath items. Continuing past the giant goat, there are a few rooms with different kinds of gifts, shorts, ties, stuffed animals, etc. it was a great experience(a bit pricey) but still great.

The G.O.A.T. of all gift shops! I shopped here last weekend and it was like Christmas itself! So many things to look at and buy for my loved ones! It is a 'must' if you are in the area (or order online!) but what a special place to visit! A destination in and of itself! A holiday tradition like when I was a kid (yes, goat pun intended!)!

My family has been going to Minerals Resort and Spa for over 20 years and each year we go to the Chatter Box, and my mom, brother, 3 friends and I decided to go in. When we walked in, the people were unwelcoming and cold. My friend bought a chocolate in there and it was 15 dollars and tasted old. Me and my friends range from 12-14 so we were playing around and we saw scarves so we decided we put them on annex and acted like we were royalty and one of the women gave me and my friends a dirty glare and she said OK let's put them back and unwrapped them from my neck and put them back on the desk. We decided we want to get away so we went around and went to the second floor and they have a whole section for kids stuff and I was in love with it and I was like oh my god yes yes please and she was following I surround with her six-year-old and four-year-old daughters I would say and she was putting their heads like they were her minions and checking things and then watching us so we went back downstairs we like OK maybe she's checking inventory so we went around to the bottom stairs and we found the bags that one side is cold one side black switch on a plane with that and she came downstairs with her daughters and she watched us and my friend she obviously she's 13 and she ran into this one of the couches and fell on top of it and the woman gave her dirty glare for three minutes and watched us as we played with the bags and then ripped him out of our hands and said OK that's enough. I was about to buy a pop socket there which by the way are $12 and I decided not to and I ran outside with my friends. My mom came outside and she said what's going on why did you run outside and I said don't buy anything from her she was following us around the entire time and making sure we didn't buy anything I am not coming here ever again and this was the first time we were in there so she decided she was going to put the things back and keep it there and not buy them my friends went back in there and the lady said old you forget something and my friend said yeah we forgot our silly putty Hill she's like oh yeah you left on the couch by the way you need to clean that up and we ran out of there not going there again. And I understand how the whole small business thing works my mother owns a small business but she was rude and she took my business away and I'm not going back there again hopefully this made you all realize how much you shouldn't go in there and if you did how much of a...

I'm using somebody else's account since I do not have access to google. I was thoughtfully shopping today for a gift and spent a good hour shopping. I finally found a pair of handcrafted earrings that would make a good last minute gift for my sister, who's birthday is today. The earrings were marked $44 and I was charged $18.83. My receipt said that I saved $26.40. I then commented on how pleasantly surprised I was to find that the earrings were on sale and proceeded to ask if any other jewelry was on sale. The sales lady consulted with who appeared to be the owner. Then this same other lady began to tell me that it was a mistake and I would have to pay full price. At this point I was so frustrated after spending so much time deciding on the gift and I expressed my frustration. The most she could do for me was 20% off. So she rang me up again for me to pay the difference, which I thought was absurd. I totally would have not made the purchase and walked out immediately if I wasn't so desperate to get last minute gift. I have been to The Chocolate Goat before and had okay experiences despite the fact that salespeople seem to lurk over my shoulder as if I am going to steal something. I assure you that I would never shop there again. It is very...

It is a cute shop, but the merchandise is overpriced and the staff is not friendly. I went in there today after eating brunch at the Millside Cafe (fabulous place with a great staff, unlike the chocolate goat) with my friends. As we perused the merchandise we realized we were being followed closely by a sales associate. We were followed the whole time, upstairs and down. She acted as if we were going to steal something Keep in mind we were all adults over the age of 25; not that anyone should be treated like that. It was disrespectful and insulting. One of my friends and I were going to buy earrings but decided not to due to the treatment we received. With so many great shops with wonderful people in this area it is foolish to be rude. I will NOT return to The...
