I was at South College Shopping Center, which does have several great shops; Logan's Farm Honey Hams, Louise's Wood Furniture - just to name a couple I frequent. However, my main objection here Saturday afternoon was a Mimi/Mother/Daughter mani-pedi day at LA BELLE NAILS SALON. Toya did my nails and did an incredible job. Professional, experienced, extremely friendly and fun. Yes! She was!! Each manicurist gives mini massages that downright gave me the "feel-good" chills. This was my first visit to LA BELLE NAILS SALON but certainly not my last. I'm headed back today for another dose of beautification with the gorgeous, sweet Anh Tran. Can't wait! Overall, my daughter and I had a fantastic, relaxing time here. We were treated exceptionally well. Absolutely perfect, in fact.
I chose OPI Bubble Bath for my nails. It's a creamy, lite, very subtle peachy-pink. Gorgeous color that looks classy. I usually do mani with clear polish. My color preference is not too flashy on my hands. However, love bright & colorful toenails. I may have chosen the same shade as my last pedi I had with my mother (not sure), but I just adore this color. For my pedi I chose OPI The Berry Thought of You. My daughter & I both had same color mani. Lyndsy (my beautiful girl!) chose one of her favorite pedi colors, OPI Cajun Shrimp. What else would a Cajun girl choose?!
We had a wonderful time at LA BELLE NAILS. It was an all-girls weekend. We had a sweet bundle of cuteness with us, too...little Miss Vivienne Idele, my youngest grand. She entertained everyone at LA BELLE, especially after she was rewarded for her great baby behavior with a cherry Blow Pop. Hey! It worked. Great atmosphere, comfy chairs, excellent extras. I may have found my regular mani/pedi salon. Instead of rewarding this salon with my usual five stars, I'm dishing out forty perfect, colorful, shiny nails!! π (A set of 20 from each of us.) Thanks, Toya & Anh. Shout out to LA BELLE NAILS SALON!!!ππππππ
P.S.-- The sign on door or on Google Maps still refers to this salon as Cali Nails. Currently, it is now called LA BELLE...

But what I witness sitting in that Lobby set me back to earlier years in my Life. A black man Approached the lady that sits in a booth down the island before you reach the cashier. And asked if she could print something pertaining to his job for his direct deposit. Well she told him she couldn't. Another white customer came in she knew she not only asked him if she could help, but insisted that he sit at her desk until she prepared his Deposit and other paperwork before he gets to the Cashiers. Not trying to start anything but let the truth be told Skin color still makes a big Difference to some still. I don't want her to loose her job, but it would be nice to see her loose a few days of pay to at least get her Attention to this matter she works with the Public. It want be only white people she sees or deal with daily. These people are part of who pays her Salary. My name is Mr....

The car was on out parked for 15 minutes and we even had receipts from the UPS store, but the owner didnβt care. We ran into many others at the tow yard who mentioned that the owner was threatening to call the police on anyone warning people not to park in his lots. He is rude and disrespectful and we will no longer give our business to any of these stores in attempt to boycott him. Many of the workers at stores in the shopping center, as well as at the tow yard said the owner has way too much time on his hands and enjoys watching people walk up to find their cars...
