Read moreWow! It’s my second time here and I love every corner of it!
The garden is just gorgeous. It’s a beautiful place for a walk. It’s not too challenging, not like a hike. But there are steps. I was heavily pregnant the first time we went, and I had no trouble navigating and enjoyed our visit tremendously.
Now, I’ve returned for a play date with my toddler. The splash pad was closed, since it’s already September and they are open only on weekends now.
We had fun playing on the playground tho. It is shaded. There are multiple benches and tables for parents. There are multiple slides and different climbing fixtures. There are a few animal statues — a turtle, a bear, a mountain lion. There are also educational corners with buttons, upon pressing which kids can hear the sounds that animal make.
After enjoying the playground, we went for a walk in the gardens. My kid loved it!
Restrooms are clean and modern.
All in all, it’s a great place to visit! For a romantic walk with your partner, or for a play date with children — it’s perfect!

Read moreThis is a pleasant and wonderful garden area that we are extremely lucky to have in our community. Most impressive is the size. Such a large walking area for being a community garden. It clearly requires a lot of work and effort from a great many volunteers and professionals. It is devide up into sections including a rose garden, plants from Australia, sections dedicated to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Cub Scouts, etc. As with pretty much all botanical gardens, things change. So a plant's name plate may not always be near a plant that is there, as it may have long since died or never taken root. That doesn't take away from the educational aspect of the reserve. It may even add to it as your student digs through his or her guide books to find each plant. Of course, this reserve is only one section of the park. Nearby is the outdoor theater, pool, kids area, and sports areas. Each of these worth their weight in gold for our community and fantastically installed...
