$1000 loss. If they screwed me (a paying customer).
Purchased a guitar on reverb.com for $1000. Upon purchase CC's made me ask and hunt high and low for tracking info (why they couldn't just send me the link or number is beyond me). This should have warned me of what was to come.
Item then arrived a week late (no assistance in tracking down, no apology)
Item arrived damaged. (no response from CC's).
Requested refund. (Denied with no response from CC)
My total loss: 1: $1000 of my cash. 2: 3 hours driving to UPS and back because they can't copy an address correctly. 2: 15 emails requesting their assistance in tracking down and later figuring out a solution for a damaged (improperly packed and shipped item).
What I did wrong: Trusting CC's to protect what I paid them to ship me and treat me fairly and respectfully as a customer or even a human being.
What you can expect doing any business with these guys: Risk of substantial financial loss.
What I would suggest. Going down the street to...
Read moreThey have advertised on their web site a Remington 700 action in stainless for $479 web site said it was available I drove from beaumont to pick it up when I got there the girl was trying to sell me a gun. No that's not what I wanted then she asked why would I want just the action? What difference does it make? You advertised it I have cash what's the problem? Then she told me I would have to talk to a manager but he was busy ok. So I inquired about 45acp ammo she told me if they had any it was only for customers who bought a gun. Seems like since I drove over an hour to get something your website says you have you could at least sell me 1 box of ammo. There website makes it seem this place is a whole lot more well stocked than it is. there is very little merchandise is the store. BTW I went to the other pawn shop 3 blocks east of there the guy their was friendly and sold me 3 boxes of ammo. Your girl in the gun dept needs to learn about guns and stop pretending she does and lose...
Read moreSpoke to associate regarding details of a private transfer on the phone two days prior to arrival from out of state. Upon arrival, we were told they don’t provide that service and suggested we go elsewhere. It would have been better to disclose the truth.
To CC Pawn, thank you for your response however there is no federal law that requires an entity to hold a firearm for 30 days. I have purchased firearms online that were sold by a private seller and sent to an FFL dealer with no 30 day hold after an ATF form was completed. When a firearm is gifted by another out of state, it is recommended by the ATF that an ATF form is completed by the receiver in the residing state which likely will include a...
