I knew better, went an spent the day at north I10 beach never really entered the water just played on float right at the edge just a bit of water at the sand. well a little bit of water and sand got on my float this was a Friday, by Monday was on morphine pump an much infection at the time so we thought. the water has so much fecal matter, chemicals etc. long story short i had to wait in limbo until they could get the bacteria infection slightly under control 4 days later I finally went in surgery an had some of my left breast removed. they say by just laying on the float sand an splashes of water entered thru my breast an set up home, my breast stole about 6 sizes bigger they said, the most gut wrenching pain I've ever endured sky high fever you name it. so please stay away from lake charles beaches, life or death. if you don't believe me go in the water about 10-14 foot in an dig your toes in the sand at the bottom of the water an pick up foot an look at what's on your toes the color an smell will make you run on water out of there. so good luck beach goers, use your...
Read moreVery dirty, the sand is black from pollution after you dig down a couple inches. Also almost got mowed down by an employee on a tractor that was trying to clean the trash off the sand. He was not at all respectful of our space or the fact that we had a baby- he repeatedly drove the tractor within just a couple feet of the baby's playpen. The bathrooms in similar state but did have multiple stalls. We also did appreciate the body and foot showers close to the sidewalk to help get rid of lingering sand.
