Lake Charles Event Center — Attraction in Lake Charles

After my tickets to a local event were stolen out of my account (result of the Ticketmaster hack), I decided to go up to the ticket sales office at the Lake Charles Event Center to see if they could help. Ms. Ashanti Griffin's customer service exceeded every expectation I had! Not only was she professional and efficient, but it took no time for her to rectify the situation. I was devastated when I thought there was a chance we were not going to be able to attend the event... but Ms. Ashanti saw to it that I received what I paid for! I believe in these days of electronic communication, corporations often lack the customer service values we once had... It was so nice to have my situation handled with courtesy... She truly values their customers and...

I've been to this facility on four weekends: Two BayouCons and two CyPhaCons.

Since this is a review on the FACILITY and not the conventions, that's now I know the convention, so I will say BayouCon is NOT worth your money, if they ever come back to this facility, while CyPhaCon, to my and many others, is about the ultimate reason to come!

The Civic Center has multiple floors, and rooms that can be separated from one another. While I've only seen elevators in one hallway, I feel the facility is still mostly well-equipped...

We attended the Gun and Knife show today, August 27th, 2023. There was plenty of parking , super fast entry , everyone was friendly. There wasn't a lot to see or any big events planned, just 1 smaller sized room with some tables with guns, knives, tasers,brass knuckles, swords, ammo,etc. Not much for kids (not that this event is for them anyway). There was one table of soaps,bath bombs, candles and one table with kid items nearby as well as one table with beef jerky. We spent our money at the kids table and beef...
