So let's be real. I'm from a real city with lots of amenities and museums. For Lake Charles sure this place is fine but it's nothing special on the scale of the USA. Aleast it was free to get in.
They had 3 art galleries and it looked like you could buy most of the pieces. Now there are a few very impressive pieces in the building but overall pretty lackluster.
Aa for the building itself it's preserved pretty well tho lots of fake walls to help with its current function. Also all of the rooms have no signs of what the original purpose was except a conference room that may or may not have been that before.

Admission is free, so there is no need to worry about funds unless you'd like to donate. Gracias and...

We enjoyed the JFK exhibit which was remarkable simply because many of the photos had been taken by what I presume were amateurs since the photographer was unknown. The gallery highlighting women who had served in Lake Charles' homes was a great tribute to hardworking and faithful people. It's so easy in today's society to overlook the people who are support staff in whatever realm you work or reside Lastly our visit was memorable because the woman who greeted us was warm, friendly, and very professional. Wonderful way to spend a winter...
