Port Wonder — Attraction in Lake Charles

Fantastic Experience at Port Wonder!

We had an absolutely amazing time at Port Wonder in Lake Charles, LA! The price is very reasonable for everything you get. My daughter enjoyed the entire experience, but her absolute favorites were the Sasol Engineering exhibits—especially the liquid and gas stations—she was completely fascinated! She also loved the art room where she got creative and explored her artistic side. And one of the highlights? She adored the stingrays—what a blast!

Port Wonder offers so many hands-on activities and learning opportunities for kids of all ages. It’s the perfect place for family fun, learning, and making memories. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a great day out...

Not worth the price. We visited when they first opened and then we went again last weekend and alot of stuff was not working or functioning. None of it was disclosed when we paid a $16 entrance fee per person! The water area was closed because chemicals?? The music room was empty when they used to have a drum set & a microphone, no toothbrushes where the teeth area is. There is information online that states this Museum is part of the Louisiana museums for all, that is a lie! This Museum does not, does not, does not participate in the museums for all, therefore there is no discount! And it is definitely not worth the price that you pay for entry! I will definitely stick to the children's Museum in Lafayette, Louisiana, because it is a wonderful place to visit, the staff is amazing, and they don't lie!
