Well...I'd like to start with a generalization and statement about "most" other pawn shops to put this review in perspective. Let us first state what is usually common when dealing with a pawn shop and its employee's in my and I have the feeling most others experiences - to put it mildly its usually a unpleasant, somewhat cold interaction, where you do not feel like you got a fair amount, whether its a loan or straight sale of said item(s) and in the end you walk away not much better then when you arrived. With that said I'd like to point out that this is the ONLY pawn shop in my many dealings with shops through out the years that none of the above hold true! Not only do they give you a fair price - by fair in my definition - I mean actually getting close to the amount the item is worth, unlike most other pawn shops (Example - they offered me double, yes double, the amount for a loan on a ring I was looking for that day in comparison to three other shops I took it to before hand, just to make sure) and as you continue to do business with them the loan amount only increases, insuring that you have incentive to return to their establishment. Cash incentive aside, I would return just for the customer service at this establishment - Erin and Jeff are worth noting by name in my opinion, although any of the employees will do but I'd like to point out those two due to the many positive interactions I've had with them recently and in the past. Both of them go above and beyond to make your experience there quick and painless, ensuring that you feel comfortable with the price, explaining clearly why it is priced that way and in general are pleasant people to interact with - most the time pawn shop edict is somewhat lacking but this cannot be said in this case. Any of the employees will do as mentioned, which is amazing but I wanted point out those two as they have always been helpful when I deal with their shop. If you want a fair price, if you want to deal with employees that have a heart and will make sure you get the most bang for your buck, this is the ONLY pawn shop worth frequenting. Do yourself a favor, don't even go to another shop, trust me, you wont find anything better out there and just save yourself the time, gas money and headache - they appreciate your business but you will appreciate theirs much, much more! This used to be my go to place when I was low on cash and needed a loan. I was always treated with respect and anytime I felt I was being offered a shady amount they would do their best to negotiate something a little better. I have been doing business with these guys for the better part of the last ten years and they have profited thousands of dollars from me. Problem is as of late they have had a bunch of policy changes that make very little sense. Some examples... No longer accepting car audio?!?! The pawn industry was built on car audio! Putting each individual ítem on a different ticket so they can charge you loan and setup fees on each individual item! Offering more money on second time loans and never honoring it. (False Advertising) Only offering a max amount of $100 on any laptop even if it's worth $3000!!! Or not being able to take a laptop in on loan because your name is not the administrator account. This policy would kind of make sense, but I bought the laptop from them, have the receipt, the password is my name and the Manger specifically remembers me buying it cause when I bought it I found out it was broken and when I brought it back in 27 hours after I bought it to return or exchange they refused because I didn't buy their over priced warranty that was never even offered! So I ended up having to pay hundreds of dollars to fix it! They change their policies from day to day and no longer provide the service that used to leave me feeling good when I walked out of their doors. When I said something to the manager Emily about my dissatisfaction I was told sorry but not sorry "it's a cut throat business". Today was my very last time doing business with them. Talk about a pawn shop dream team! My recent experience was absolutely phenomenal, and it's all thanks to the incredible customer service I received from Wendy, Christine, Todd, Jeff, and Lee. From start to finish, every interaction was a masterclass in professionalism, helpfulness, and genuine care. Wendy set the bar so incredibly high right from the beginning with her warm welcome, kind demeanor, and efficient assistance. She absolutely has to be the most patient, and honest worker I've EVER dealt with in a pawn shop. It doesn't get better than Wendy when it comes to customer service!! When Christine stepped out. She immediately continued showing her stores level of excellence by going above and beyond to make sure all my questions were answered thoroughly. She really is the best store manager I've witnessed at any of these USA Pawn locations! Todd is an absolute rockstar, tackling a tricky situation with impressive skill and a fantastic attitude. Though the customer he was dealing with was difficult, he managed with grace, and the customer left with a smile, thanking Todd for his outstanding helpfulness! And I truly can't say enough about Jeff and Lee. They both demonstrated an amazing ability to anticipate my needs and provide solutions before I even had to ask. Together, this team creates an atmosphere where you feel truly valued as a customer. They're knowledgeable, incredibly polite, and genuinely committed to providing the best possible experience.
