Mathany Family Vineyards — Attraction in Lake Ozark

First of all Noone was in there to greet us when we walked in so went to restroom when we came out someone was finally there we tasted a couple of wines decided on one seated ourselves outside beautiful view had ordered a snack he brought it out with one set of silverware and one napkin never saw our server again until we went to pay was going to get another glass if wine but he never came back to check on us then to top it off someone was smoking told him about it when we left he said there was no smoking signs like thats going to stop some people if he would if checked on his customers he would if known so most likely won't go back too many good...

Everyone, stop what you’re doing and come here! Whatta gem of a place at the Lake of the Ozarks. We have been here three times over the last month! As a non-Missourian, I’ve always thought Missouri wines were too sweet but not this place! They take their wine making seriously and with pride. Our favorites are the Vidal Blanc, Chambourcin, and Moscato. But heck, they’re all good!! And dang, the food is a must. I have literal dreams about the Bourbon Bacon sliders. They are one of a kind! If you want amazing wine, memorable food, great service that will make you feel like family, you must visit Mathany!...

Beautiful winery with incredible food and wine. The owners make their own wine so not a huge selection but they sure know what they are doing, all the wines are excellent. The menu has a variety of choices, all great (especially the charcuterie board and sliders) they even have a kids menu. There is plenty of seating, inside and out. Inside, there are “nooks” upstairs if your group wants more privacy. Outside is peaceful with a view of new vineyards and the valley. Music on the weekends and other special events occasionally.
