APRIL FOOL !!!
Today’s experience at Waffle Pancake House had to be an April fools’ joke because this cannot be the standard of service for any restaurant. The first indication of the foolishness began with waitress who could not properly input orders into the tablet. Followed by:
After 40 minutes, 1 of 5 orders was presented and was prepared incorrectly – it was sent back.
The 2nd order arrived 45 minutes into the visit and was prepared correctly.
The 3rd order arrived 50 minutes into the visit and was served cold – it was sent back. The order was remade, however, the accompanying pancakes were never issued.
The 4th order arrived 52 minutes into the visit and was missing the requested avocado.
The 5th order arrived 54 minutes into the visit – it was sent back due because the requested meats were incorrect. The order was remade, however, it was still missing the cheese.
At no time did the waitress return to our table to ensure we were having a pleasant experience or address our issues. Water was refilled AFTER one member of our party had already left the restaurant. Utensils were moved with the returned plates and I was left to find a new set.
These issues were addressed with the manager who explained that he was short staffed. The proper thing to do in this situation is to inform the customers as they enter the establishment. This gives the customer the opportunity to make a decision on their time and money.
The manager thereafter offered a discount was offered. What did we receive………A WHOPPING 15%.
In terms of the taste of the food, I would state that WHEN SERVED AS ORDERED AND AT THE PROPER TEMPERATURES is mediocre, at best!!
The word “NEVER” cannot not amply describe my decision to revisit or recommend...
Read moreNah, I'm cool. I'm a stickier for customer service, and first impressions will make me not come back to your business. Such is the case with this place. Upon entering, I had to give the girls at the register my name 3 times on a pick up order. 3. They still looked confused. My order was sitting on the counter to be bagged. Once they finally figured it out, one girl bagged my food. The other girl gave me some short conversation about the confusion. I get my bag, I leave. On the order I marked add Utensils. I get halfway up the road, no Utensils. I ordered pancakes and French toast, no syrup. Nothing. Just the food I ordered. I go back. I tell the same girl that bagged my food that she didn't put anything in the bag except food. No apology. Nothing. Just a dry "how many syrups do you want?" I took my Utensils and my syrup, and left. Never to return. Haven't tried the food yet. It's cold. Not even looking forward to it at this point...
Read moreI order via grub hub and received two meals from here. Both meals had long brown/red hair in them. I called the restaurant to try to resolve the issue. The lady on the phone kept me on hold for a very long time. She finally came back and said I would have to bring the food to the restaurant to show them there is hair in the food in order to get the meal replaced. I informed them I do not have a car which is why I used grub hub. She then said well there is nothing we can do. I asked to speak directly to the manager who refused to come to the phone. My meals also both had missing items. This is very disappointing and the refusal of the manager speaking with me after this incident is disrespectful. I will not be ordering...
