Update:. The staff is not allowing customers to use the bathroom. They claim it's broke. I think it may be the migrants sitting in front of the store and Walgreens, who have annoyed the clerks and/or misused the bathroom, stoled the toilet paper and left a mess.
I told the clerk that is bad news for someone like me using a walker. I immediately have to go when I get to a store probably due to GI damaged bladder. Nuts!
I purchased a box of face masks and UniBall gel pens (that I don't like) and two totes for $0.48:each.
I'll be there this morning. I hope someone has filled the rest-room stalls with toilet paper. Its been messy the last time I had to use it, November 2023.
What would we do without the pick up service and copy center?
Although I buy toner on the Internet, I am more confident the product is not flawed than if I buy it at the store, where refunds are harder to get.
The Staples near Ashland and Milwaukee is more generous with reduced items, like now.

   Read moreI made a trip to this store because I have a rewards coupon for $10 off of $10 (I spend a lot at Staples). In order to total $10 I had to buy two of them, but it was buy one get one half off (which wouldn't total $10). Since you can't combine discounts I asked them to charge me full price so i could reach the minimum and use my rewards. The manager said he couldn't do that and refused to override the price, even though I know they can because they've done it before (and he manages the store!!!). So I took the coupon back from him and said it was a wasted trip. I went to leave and he said "you can't do that" referring to me taking the coupon from him. He clearly showed his lack of customer service, so I asked for the manager and he said he was. So I asked for his info and he said "I'll get it for you but It's going to be on my time. It'll be a while." He very slowly walked to the back of the store and eventually came back. Then he gave me a business card that said Peter even though his name tag said Tony. I filed a complaint with corporate and said that I wouldn't do business with Staples as long as he's managing this store (although I'm not even sure if he really is...
   Read moreI came in to reprint two simple postersâjust regular paper, 11x17, same file I had printed the day before in under five minutes. I had spilled something on the originals, so I re-sent the attachment to the storeâs email and stopped by again around 4:30 PM. This is on April 23rd, 2025. The store was completely emptyâzero customers. I asked if they could quickly reprint the file, like last time, and the woman at the counter said they were âunderstaffed.â There were two employees standing behind the register and no one else in sight.
Honestly, it wouldâve been better if she just said she didnât know how to use the machine. That at least wouldâve been more honest. Instead, I got attitude and excuses for something that shouldâve taken less than two minutes. I ended up going to the Wabash location downtown, where they printed the exact same file in less than 5 minutes, no hassle, no drama. The Wabash store was kind enough to give me complimentary posters (I only needed 2) for the hassle.
Really disappointing experience at Clark & Wilson. This is the kind of service that makes people not want...
