Went to their Black Box theater and saw the "Tick Tick... Boom" musical theater production. Very impressive and intimate facility (192 fire-code occupants in the theater). Their stage area has a live band room that adds a unique experience for their musicals. Great lighting and sound. Parking in the front is good but tight. Parking in the back is more roomy. Quaint lobby for concessions before the show and during the matinee. Nice lounge area for enjoying a wine or beer before the show. They do workshops for children and the prices I saw are reasonable. They also rent out space for meetings and classes. I'm not a theater person but this experience did move me several times and I do plan on coming back for their next production.

TexARTS is a wonderful theatre/dance academy. They do fully produced youth musicals as well as professional productions. The students are great and dedicated to what they do and genuinely love it!! And the professional performers are so talented as well! Such a gem located in Lakeway, TX.

TexARTS is a wonderful theatre/dance academy. They do fully produced youth musicals as well as professional productions. The students are great and dedicated to what they do and genuinely love it!! And the professional performers are so talented as well! Such a gem located in Lakeway, TX.

They do a great job at hosting. But this production was terrible. The only good voice was the girl. Didn't like the language!!!! , the story line was week and boring. We left at intermission. The band was great... Hope the next production is better, or we won't be renewing after 10 years of being a supporter. P.S. many of our friends said the same thing. Sorry you asked, so I told you the truth. Best of luck for the future, I'd like to keep...

Have had two beautiful experiences at TexARTS! One was last year's ''Anything Goes'' and this year's production of ''Bye Bye Birdie''. Well directed, acted and produced, one had the sensation of wanting to keep coming back for more! Also, the staff treats you like royalty and it is all in all a great experience. Any time I am in Austin, I will check out TexARTS to see what's playing and go see it! I highly...
