Called to see if they'd take a walk in at the Lakeway location. I work out of town during the week so sometimes it's hard to make an appointment. Been there before and the haircut was good. Never was it so busy they could ablige a walk in. I guess Lakeway is growing. Certainly never at Findleys... Anyway I asked if they would take me as a walk in. Their response; Yes, if you come right now. I gave them my name and said I'd be there in 10 minutes. Jump in my car and drive there, walk in and they immediately ask me if I have an appointment. I said no, I called and you said yes if I came right over. The stylist wasn't who I talked to, different voice. She acted as though she had no idea what was going on. The other stylist wouldn't look up from what she was doing. The stylest talking to me began looking at the computer as though I would be in there or something. She told me, sorry we're all booked, would I like to make an appointment for Sunday. Annoyed, I said I'd consider it and walked out. I've considered it and no I won't go back there again. She made no attempt to see if any of the other people working there talked to me.

Read moreI am currently in cos school and reccomended a local barbershop, diesel, to one of my guy friends. look guys, i’m literally 21 years old okay? i am not karen. i despise karen’s having worked in the service industry for a while, but i felt a calling from above to write this little review about his experience today 4/10/25. while booking his appointment, he found a barber that has been in the industry for 11 years! which is all cool and dandy right? wrong. because let me tell you, i have just seen a rediculously botched haircut! one side is hella long, other side looks like he took the clipper up too far. the back, oh my god don’t even get me started, was round. round as in basketball. round as in not faded to the natural hairline shape. with my friend having showed said barber a picture of a textured fringe haircut (if you don’t know what that is look it up on googs and literally the first pic is the reference pic) and that is certainly not what he received. not even CLOSE. he is now considering buzzing his head. be ware...
Read moreWorst haircut I’ve gotten since moving to the U.S.
I asked Hunter for a low fade, with the sides a bit short and the top completely untouched — pretty simple. Instead, he grabbed a #1 or #2 guard and buzzed up way too high before even starting the fade, ruining the shape of my hair. I have curly, medium-long hair, and he cut so far up that it looked nothing like what I asked for. When I politely told him it was way too high, he responded rudely saying “That’s what you told me to do, to make your face look more square.” It wasn’t just dismissive it was unprofessional.
He didn’t use water at any point, the cut was uneven (one side longer than the other), and the “low fade” ended up looking like a high one that was barely blended. It honestly looked rushed and careless.
To make it worse, I was charged $55 for what felt like the most disappointing cut I’ve had in years. I’ll return to this shop but never to Hunter. Judging by other reviews, I’m not the only one who’s had a bad experience with him. Management should take a...
