Gourmet Glatt North — Attraction in Lakewood Township

Very large spacious and overall good prices. The reason why I’m giving it a three star is for the takeout as it doesn’t make sense to me that when you order full large chicken platter $20 worth the one in charge of the kitchen told me each customer gets one sauce for free we’re talking about a tiny container, the sauce packets and that’s it, additionally it’s $.25 each. It doesn’t make sense to me that it goes per customer. It should go per how much you buy an order. I don’t understand if I tell 20 people in the store. Could you all take sauces for me they’ll give them? Takeout is not my expectation which is sad because you want full enjoyable experience...

I haven't eaten chicken in a long time (I'm not a chicken eater at all) but I bought a whole roasted chicken in gourmet glatt for $13.99 cuz I couldn't resist the smell and it was phenomenal! But this is just a small detail of this amazing store, I am a chef and I was very pleased to find fresh herbs like Rosemarie, thyme, basil, fresh mushrooms of all sorts etc. Not very many kosher stores have a selection like that. Great neighborhood plaza. D Lux, Dollar General, Gourmet Glatt, J2 Pizza, the USPS Post Office Auxillary, Center of Town&Judaica Plaza are just a few of my constant stores I visit here. I used to go to The Gym here years ago as well. A handy location with a variety of shopping variety in 1 place. Plenty of Handicap parking, wheelchair accessible ramps & sidewalks all around the plaza, & tons of parking since the plaza itself surrounds a quite large parking lot, which is definitely necessary for such a bustling full town.
