Adorned Bridal & Formal Boutique — Attraction in Lakewood

Tried on several wedding dresses here. It was a great experience! They greeted us when we came in, gave me a bag of clips, and said to browse the dresses and put a clip on the ones I wanted to try, which theyd then take into the fitting room--a clever and efficient system. Andrea was the person who worked with me most and was very helpful, chatting with me and my guest and giving lots of suggestions on how the dresses could be tailored to fit. (Because they are donated, many have been tailored already to fit someone else perfectly. She's been doing this a while and knows how some fabric could go from the train to fill in the back, how a bodice could be taken in, or how to give a strapless dress shoulders.) Someone named Marty or Marci--sorry I don't remember!--also popped up a few times with ideas for tailoring or just to say a dress looked amazing. She seems great too.

The setup is nice. You have a room in the back to get dressed, with a rack of dresses right outside the curtains for you to grab. Then you go out for everyone to see. There's an area with three mirrors to pose in. All neat and cozy.

There are also non-bridal dresses, so you could go here for a homecoming or prom dress or some other special occasion. When I was there, there was a display of dresses in Seahawks blue and green!

Anyway, great place with helpful people and it's all to support an important cause, so well worth checking out as you search...

Absolutely gorgeous space!! They have a big selection of dresses and styles available plus veils,accessories and shoes! Trish and Shay were so helpful and made the day so special! No details been missed in creating a lush space full of whimsy,sparkle and feminine beauty celebrating a very special day in a brides journey! We had a large group and they made it happen comfortably for us! Our bride said Yes to her dress too!! Every purchase supports and funds the mission behind adorned bridal and their non profit bringing awareness about trafficking and providing resources,work pathways and support to those coming out of being trafficked plus hosting community health and dental events makes every purchase deeply meaningful and purposeful on a whole other level! My daughter found this place just waiting for coffee in Starbucks across the parking. She decided to see what they offer and loved this place from first glance. Amazingly friendly and helpful volunteers found a dress of her dream! Also they agreed keep in on hold for few days! Then we came together to make final purchase and magic happened again! It was such a huge difference from other places we visited - we felt like dear guests or very close friends. All advises were very professional and suggestions were helpful. And guess what?! they asked me if I started shopping for mother-of-bride dress and show me three perfect choices of my size. I fall in love with one of them and we both got our dresses in same place, on same day!!! I can't even describe all appreciation we feel toward those wonderful ladies who helped us to find what we were looking for! Amazing experience!
