Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church — Attraction in Lancaster

Not a very good church..rude staff members. I tried to ask for help for food since I'm running out of food and I am about 2 months pregnant and they said they can't help and shut the door in my face. It was quite rude..I mean what church shuts out a pregnant woman that is hungry and can't go to council of church to like 2 months. I walked 5 miles just to get help and now i gotta walk another 5 miles back to my apartment. They told me to walk up their and they'll give me a gift card for like milk and stuff then they said "Oh so we giving out gift cards to the whole world now." And then she said we don't have anymore and shut the door in my face with a mean look...hows that look...

The annual Greek Bazaar is a Lancaster County highlight... always the first weekend in November. Nowhere else can you find such great Greek food (the menu is always the same: baked tomato chicken, pastistio, stuffed grape leaves, Greek salad, roll and butter). Dine in or take out. Recommend dining there and purchasing some delectable Greek pastries for dessert -- and some to take home! A fine way to spend the first weekend...

Such an incredible parish with such wonderful priests and full of genuine, welcoming people. I am so thankful to have found this family. Coming here and beginning to learn to live the beautiful Orthodox Faith has truly felt like...
