Five Below — Attraction in Lancaster

I love stopping by when I’m in town because they have so many different things to look for and the prices are wonderful. I also love that they are always changing their merchandise and updating their inventory. All items in the store at $5 and below with things like backpacks, electronic items for cellphone accessories , LED lights for PCs, TVs cosmetics and accessories, skin care, Seasonal clothing like tank tops, shorts, swimwear and sleepwear along with summer sandals. You can even pick up beach towels, outdoor games and activities with pool and beach equipment like rafts, inner tubes, water wings, floaties, beach chairs, sunglasses, ice chests. The list goes on and on. They have things to offer for almost any room in the house. Bedroom, kitchen, office, bathrooms, living room as well as extras like candy, soda machine, office supplies. Wow, basically a lot of pretty decent merchandise all for under $5 within a easy to navigate smaller location, yet packed with things you couldn’t imagine until you see it for yourself. The only thing I don’t like, is that there are not enough locations. I know they are in the process of opening more, and of course that process is a lot slower now with this virus. But I hope it happens soon because it’s a great place to do inexpensive, good...

Went in this morning and the store is overall pretty organized. However, when I was checking out I had a lovely cashier who was awesome I believe her name was Didi? (I hope that’s correct), as I went to pay in cash the cash register had an error and called her managers to assist. Both managers were very rude in the manner they explained she can’t use the register unless busy? They were extremely unprofessional in the way they educated her and I felt extremely uncomfortable and annoyed that they kept telling her the same thing over and over in front of us instead of taking her to the side. And the assistant manger laughing at her error was so upsetting to me. Just because you’re managers doesn’t make you perfect and don’t forget that you were once in her position. I would advise against working here until they update their management and/or do retraining. **to the cashier that assisted me this morning at 11:20am you were awesome and do yourself a favor and find another job, there’s other places that will value you...

How rude are the employees. I was laughed at for saying no thank you regarding checking out my own items. If you are getting rid of self check out maybe put some separated check outs then. I do not want to be that close to anyone as I have social anxiety and choose stores with self check out. I already don't recommend this store for many other reasons, but this was just embarrassing and rude to be laughed at because of my social anxiety. No where does it say it's not self check out anymore, no instead I stood next to a lady who was already checking herself out to be laughed at and publicly embarrassed by rude employees. I understand it's your job but maybe let people know ahead of time so they can decide if they want to be so close to the workers you can smell...
