Chuck E. Cheese — Restaurant in Lancaster

I've had my daughter's 2nd and now 5th birthday party here. Her 2nd was really nice. I felt like the staff had everything together and really wanted the kids to enjoy themselves. Fast forward 3 years to now her 5th and I'm not sure what happened. There is one "host" Mathew that is the absolute worst! He was the host for my friends party the month or two prior so I knew he had a terrible attitude. When I walked in and the manager said he was ours this time I thought to myself here we go again. He doesn't care about anything. Walks extremely slow acts like he has no clue what's going on. We put in our order and he finally brings the pitchers of drinks but then just walks away. I see him up front as for cups and his response is those are extra. I'm sorry but you could just tell me that. Not act like I knew. What were we supposed to drink out of. He rolled his eyes at me so I immediately went to the manager. She then did make it right and gave me Angel which he lives up to his name. Thank you angel for helping make the party better for us. When Chucky came out guess who was in the custume? You guessed right Matthew. The guy wouldn't even dance or have any fun at all. For families paying $300+ for these parties in this economy that's so unacceptable. I know my friend complained about this guy also because she was not given a different host. Why though is he still being given these responsibilities. Even the manager acknowledged he is the worst. Just get better people please. Sad to say I won't book...

I’m giving a 1 star review not as a costumer but as someone who had applied here. I’m currently looking for new work experiences and had walked in with my family (on a Thursday) as a costumer and happened to ask a very nice young woman if they happened to have been hiring..she immediately said yes and let me know I could apply and give them a call the following day so I applied to two positions that same day and also let them know that same day that I had applied and I was given an interview that same day and it was awesome I was very interested and excited to potentially be able to work here and learn here. I was told by the young man that ended up interviewing me that I would get a second interview with the hiring manager the following Tuesday, on said day I arrived to my interview 10 minutes earlier just to be told that the hiring manager wasn’t there and we would have to reschedule (very unprofessional) but I digress because again I was very excited to work here. We rescheduled for Friday at 12:00 in the afternoon and again I show up to my interview 10 minutes early only to have to sit there waiting for the hiring manager for 50 minutes to then only get a 10 minutes tops conversation with said hiring manager (who didn’t introduce themselves by the way) and to ultimately be told they weren’t “actively looking” for new hires?? So we just came back from Chuck E. Cheese. This location has really gone downhill since Ivonne left. The old cast was at least better trained than this new one. We walk in and weren't even greeted by the cashier, she was helping a family ahead of us then went on to help a guest at the prize counter. We waited in line and then comes in more guests. Paul the manager walked in and didn't acknowledge anyone nor did he try to help. The young lady could've called other team members to help at the counter but i wont blame her for poor management, then as she was ringing a customer up for the prizes she called a manager over the the register and this manager did not acknowledge the people at the front waiting to be checked in. As we got seated, i started to notice all the trash on the floor, and the trash cans being full with trays from not being bussed. I know from before at least team members and even managers would walk around cleaning the floor or wiping tables down. Took about 30 minutes to get our food. All we had was an XL pizza. The pizza looked as if they stretched the regular large dough which would make sense but this dough was stretched out too much that it was all greasy and it might as well should've been a thin crust.
