I was very unhappy with my brief experience in this Lowe's. I watched 2 employees ignore a woman with her mother while they had a conversation, she had to interrupt them to ask for help. If you are in customer service and you see 2 customers looking at you, why would you not acknowledge them? Then it got worse after the one worker grabbed another worker who knew about the evaporative coolers to help them. He obviously had little to no idea what he was talking about and when he was asked if the cooler came with a filter already or if they had to buy it separately, he said it should be inside the machine. That is when I interjected, luckily I have been using these coolers for years. This whole time I was standing there waiting to ask a question myself and a different group came up and he went to help them and ignored me completely. At this point is was apparent that I would not get any information I needed from this place, so I walked out. No intention of returning.
My message to management: get involved with your workers, make them understand their roles, and if they don't know the answer to something, don't act like they do, find someone who...
Read moreIf you have a male counterpart, i.e. hubby, boyfriend then I'm sure you've been to Lowe's for a tool or two, especially for his Birthday or Christmas. And they have the perfect gift they might need. Give them a try! They carry tools with Bosch, Dewalt, Kobalt and Skil to name a few. And they have a great return guarantee if there's ever a problem. Paint project? Come to Lowes! They've got a tremendous paint selection. Plus wallpaper as well. Need appliances? They have those, too. Washers & dryers, front loaders, pedestals, the whole shebang. Tile, windows, shutters, plus a BEAUTIFUL garden section. There's just too much to put here, so I would recommend stopping by your local Lowe's and enjoy. With so much time at home these days, (believe me I understand) you will find something there you can enjoy making, or project at home that needs fixing. ...
Read moreLots of places to go shopping in this area, and after you're done shopping you'll find quite a few places to grab a bite to eat. The businesses that I frequently go to in this area are (not sorted by importance) Lowes, WinCo's foods, Bank of America, Ross dress for less, Target, and Enterprise car rental. That's just my short list, but there are many other great businesses here. So what are you waiting for? Get out there and have a fun-filled day of shopping. TIP: If it's a nice day outside and you just want to relax, find an area for the kids to run around and burn off some energy, or just wanting to be outside but away from the shopping scene, you should head over to the Sgt. Steve Owen Memorial Park. It's about 1 mile away: 43063 10th Street West, Lancaster,...
