Happy New Year Jaime,
My family came to the Lancaster panera bread and ordered 3 separate orders.
Whe we got the order the 1/2 Mac and cheese, was ordered my my mother-in-law also had my son's 1/2 steak and white cheddar sandwich. And my 1/2 ceasar salad didn't have the chicken that I ordered.
We didn't realize my son's sandwich was on my mother-in-law's plate. And we went to the oder area stating we didn't get the sandwich. They offered a full sandwich. I was also going back and forth with the micromanagement of butter one time, not enough spoons another time, napkins another time, and a knife to spread the frozen butter!
Then I discover that the sandwich is on my mother-in-law's plate! She and my son are a little under the weather and I go to let them know that we found the sandwich but my mother-in-law, also has dementia, has been eating it.
So they come back with half a sandwich, when they offered a full! I was frustrated!! I asked for the full sandwich that they offered and that should have been on a separate plate.
My salad was the pick 2 with the Mac and cheese as per the reciept! I eventually spoke with /Kendra, took the mess of an order then Dolly after asking for a full comp for this disaster and disappointing meal! Dolly refused and only comped the incorrect "pick 2" of $18.16. This is such a poor management decision!!
I am requesting a full comp and anything else for wasting my time writing this email!
Also my son was looking and his $12 with tax 1/2 sandwich that should have been $8 and change!! They explained, after the fact that that is the "pick 2" price... So, for $12 you get a 3 inch sandwich???
Seriously!??
BTW,a giant 15 inches at JERSEY MIKE'S across the street is $14!!! If I purchase 5 x 3 inch of the 1/2 sandwiches at pb, at $12/ 1/2 pb sandwich it would cost me $60 at pb for the same15 inches at JERSEYMIKE'S!!!!
Please honor my request of a full refund and any gift card for this fiasco of a meal!
BE ADVISED THAT HALF MEALS WITHOUT THE PUCK 2 ARE AVERAGING...
Read moreAwful. Manager Luis touched food in pastry section without gloves. Then our food sat on counter waiting for someone to bring it out for 10-15 mins while we waited. My husband tried to pick up our tray but was told he wasn't allowed. Waited 5 more minutes. Meanwhile we asked to speak to the manager ... Luis... who said he would be right with us. He started to toast a family of 8's individual bagels and pastries. Sometime later a girl brings my soup and says sorry.. soup wasn't ready when I ordered and plus there is cheese but it melted because it sat for so long. Husband's $10 sandwich was 2 layers of Turkey meat and 1 piece of cheese, and 2 pieces of soggy bread. I get up and ask the Manager ... Luis.. if he was still coming over. He told me yes.. but after some reminding that we requested him. When he finally came over he said he would refund our meals.. but apparently not my hubby 's drink. Seriously, a $4 drink that not only sucked, but was only ordered because we wanted to eat there. So, no Luis the dirty handed pastry fondler did not give us a full refund, But, we won't eat...
Read moreSo am one of many homeless people in Lancaster, and Panera Bread has free Wifi and clean bathrooms and those two things make it awesome to me. So I was in the lobby charging my phone and this gentlemen approached me and asks if am hungry and offers to buy me lunch and of course am awe struck in gratitude almost to tears cause its not often people convey kindness with a manifestation attached to it.This story gets better... this awesome God fearing Muslim man in scrubs proceeds to buy me a $100 gift card so that ill have lunch for the next several days.At this point am speechless in shock all that comes our is thank you thank you thank you so much. This means so much to me. So for the next few days I order food and instead of the employee's being nice its much the opposite almost like they wanna steal my joy. This post would be much to long to explain but if you've ever been in my shoe's you know what am talking about. But the quality of food is too shelf. Prep of food is mostly the same. Quality of service hit and miss depending who's...
