I wasnāt expecting to find some of the best burritos Iāve ever had at a detox facility but wow, was I blown away. The food here is genuinely amazing, and the burritos deserve a special shoutout. Packed with flavor, fresh ingredients, and the perfect balance of protein, veggies, and spice theyāre comforting, filling, and absolutely delicious. Whether itās breakfast or lunch, every bite tastes homemade, like it was made with care. Itās the kind of food that actually makes you look forward to mealtime.
And then thereās the agua fresca hands down one of the highlights of my day here. They have a few rotating flavors, but the pineapple one is on another level. Itās refreshing, naturally sweet, and bursting with real fruit flavor. You can tell itās made fresh no artificial aftertaste, just pure tropical goodness in a glass. On a warm day, itās like drinking sunshine.
Food might seem like a small thing in the grand scheme of detox and recovery, but here, it plays a huge role. Itās one more reminder that healing doesnāt have to be miserable it can actually taste pretty amazing. If you ever find yourself here, donāt skip the burrito. And definitely donāt miss the pineapple agua fresca. Total game-changers. Oh and the best part is...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreDid the drive thru, since of COVID-19, I'm not as active as I used to be. But definitely worth trying this place out, especially if you like taco truck type food. I'm not going to call this gastronomĆa but it definitely hits the spot if you want "authentic Mexican fast food" that's not the likes of Del Taco or Taco Bell.
Had a Carne Asada Mulita (VERY greasy! But good) and a Cabeza (beef cheek) Taco which were both great and surprisingly filling. Their seasoned curly fries are not fantastic though (who has fries in a Taco truck anyway??). Their hot sauce was HOT so careful, their salsa verde much milder and decent.
The big prize though is the "PiƱa Superior" drink which is like a Dole Pineapple ice cream whip (think Disneyland at the Tiki house for the fans) but with real pineapple chunks, some red syrup (maybe strawberry?) and Mexican spicy candies inside. WOW! Definitely worth the price and a solid comeback from me even if it would be just for that!
If you like Taco trucks with the convenience of a drive tru... this is a great...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreI have given tacos superior a couple chances to get it right because they were once our favorite taco truck out here in the AV and so far everytime we go it's just a disappointment š from the service, to the meat quality, to the portions, the service is very slow inside since everyone is busy getting the drive thru orders out, I waited over 30 min for my cold food. When I walked in the lady at the counter was going on break, when she was done with her break she saw me still waiting for my food so she asked me my order number and went to ask about my food, I thanked her and left. The sope was so oily I couldn't even eat it and the cabbage looked brown. The alpastor tacos were cold and the tortilla was hard, the only good thing was the horchata. I'm from LA, and we have El Taurino, King taco and many fire taco spots out there so the tacos here at superior were our favorite when we moved to Lancaster but it seems as though their quality in food has gone way down from when they originally had started up. Won't be back...
